@christofferjenzen786 жыл бұрын
The first two are golden,comedic cult classics. Ninja is an inept, embarrassing,repetitive turd finding the concept of a fat,white ninja hilarious and worth hurting our souls for and it sent Farley into a deeper booze and drug depression...and then,the end,he died a month after it premiered.. He seems bored in it,unlike Almost Heroes,which also is very stupid and has a poor script but he is just on fire there,insane antics and carries that movie..."The Upper...case...A..hehee...Whoa!"

@@annimar43 I wrote that eight months ago...and regret it. First off,i rewatched black sheep a few months later and...no. I mean,Farley is of course hilarious but the writing is pretty shitty,its a cynical cash grab and director Spheeris personal disdain for Spade hurt the movie. And just last week i finished the book and cant in good concience support the movie. This is,as you know,where he relapsed and never recovered cause he was so ashamed of it....and the less said about his father,the better. Not only did he convince Chris to do Ninja for the money but also had that mentality "My son eats and drinks too much but if i acknowledge that,maybe i have to deal with the fact that i do too." And then he dies a year after his son. Not wishing death on anyone but if he died first,that couldve been a Wake up call for Chris. He quit drinking and still croaked soon after....
@annimar435 жыл бұрын
@@christofferjenzen78 I so agree with you. His dad's denial of his own food and alcohol addiction yet insisting that Chris's addictions were his own problems that he would have to conquer them himself was monstrously hypocritical. And it was to Chris's great detriment. The fact that Chris's dad quit drinking after Chris died indicates he understood his own culpability in Chris's death.

I know this is countlessly looked past every time, but take into account Davids reaction at 0:11 when Tommy says roads . His head tilts back in pure enjoyment and then lightly shakes it side to side in disbelief, that Tommy says the word that he can't. Tommys' reaction to Davids inability to say the word at 0:15 shows that Tommy knows he is smarter than David he is, and that continues on until Tommy realizes they are both stoned. Tommy is smarter than David, even when they are both stoned.
