This is a great review! How does the pomade feel in the hair, is it a heavy greasy sticky feel or fairly lightweight and dry? Can it be finger combed for texture? Thanks!

It's kind of in between. More on the greasy side, but not as heavy as an oil-based one would be. I wouldn't recommend finger coming. At least it didn't work for me.

The reason why it's clumpy is because of the dead sea clay. When you add water to it, it becomes like mud.

I rub it in my hands until it becomes some what clear and it still leaves white residue like dandruff in my hair, did you have that issue?

I haven't tried the Firsthand pomade, just their styling clay :)
