With the murder-suicide, this kind of mentality of control and needing to be in control is usually the reason that these people go to court and fight - for my parents it was "if you don't want me then I'll hurt you by taking the kids". As a parent with my youngest child, my almost 12 year old non speaking autistic child, I can understand the anti vaccine issue. But the fact that it got so serious with the control over this child is so wrong. If each side could have just compromised they probably could have avoided what happened. It obviously pushed this man over the edge. Its such a shame that these cases give unwarranted ammunition to condemn parents who are against vaccines for legitimate intelligent reasons. This is a case of someone who was unstable in his reasoning and therefore made a psychotic decision.
