I don’t even celebrate any of this festivities anymore, in the modern capitalist world, these things are becoming a luxury. And I’m not future enough to participate, so I focus on putting myself in a position where I can effort this luxuries. For now I’ll just do anything to minimise my liabilities until I’m financially capable.

I’m currently only speaking to my Mother. Everyone is cut off, I could barely pay rent or enjoy my money because of family 😢.

I cut off so many people cause of DV I was put through and no one was remorseful it took me time to heal 💯. Actually if you open up to pple they will never understand you so I resonated to being alone for some time. This was an awesome topic beautiful Asanda 💗💗

Help!!! I dont know what to do. I've met an incredible guy...who is an intellect and is an amazing human being, but we never pass a week without him disclosing how much he feels he owes his mom and siblings so much, should he attain financial security in the coming future. What I'm noticing is, not only does he suffer from first born guilt, but I think he wants to play a role that was his father's, since they were raised by a single mother. Its tough how much he doesn't have a vision of what he wants for himself, but is clearly stuck on what his mom need receive.😮

Black tax is real, i have been working for 5 years and taking care of the family, now i have decided to move out cos wow its alot and draining, i hate how ungrateful and unappreciative they are ayi ngiRight shame!!
