Today I would love to chat to you about 10 beautiful ideas for black tie event. I believe that long dresses are much better for that occasion and that's what I am going to focus on.

Hiii! I'm so sorry that it's been so long that I left a comment on one of your videos, I have a huge backlog of videos that I still have to watch! Since I love formal fashion, I obviously was very interested in hearing what you would say in this video and I was very glad that you encourage the other women to wear long dresses because you don't have many opportunities to wear them so please do take advantage of any opportunity :).! I think just like you: "go for it, pamper yourself, treat yourself to wearing very nice things that you don't get to wear often! You're absolutely right that when you are wearing something extra nice and refined, it just makes you feel instantly more confident and good about yourself! It's one of the reasons why I like wearing suits, it just makes me feel so assured and confident about myself and I think that it also somehow unconsciously makes you have a better posture (although I'm not sure whether it's the same effect for women as you don't wear a jacket -which "shapes" the upper half of your body). Regarding black, I know and understand that it's tempting to make it your "go-to" colour because it feels safe but I would really want to encourage the ladies to use black sparingly, I think black can look quite sad and there are enough other options that don't involve a great deal of risk (darker colours are favoured for formal events anyway) like navy blue, dark green, etc. If you go for black, I recommend making good use of bright/shiny (silver/gold) accessories to give a lighter touch to the outfit. We need more colour and sparkles in life! So that also supports your second point :). The emerald dress is gorgeous!! Very classy, very stylish...The pink ones were very nice too! When it comes to the black sheer one, I'd recommend using cautious as black tie events are formal, which means that they are not places to expose a lot of skin. Red is granted bolder but worn properly and with confidence, it is stunning! And YES to that navy blue dress!! I know I'm not entirely impartial as blue is my favourite colour but it is as you said a very classic dress, so you can't go wrong with that! And indeed, I agree that the silver accents work so well with that colour! Excellent choice! The last ones (slightly less formal) were very beautiful too! If you remember my first comment posted on your channel, you will probably not be surprised to see me say that I obviously can't end my comment without mentioning that long/opera gloves are very much suited for black tie events :). I just love the elegant touch that they add to any outfit and I so wish they would make a true comeback :). Certain celebrities have been wearing them in recent years at key events, like Ariana Grande. Anyway, congratulations on all the work you put into the making of your videos, it's very clear that they are well prepared and it makes them so pleasant to watch!

Thank you very much for your comment. I really appreciate your point of view. I agree black is often choose as a safe colour, especially when Ladies attending black tie event for the first time. But I completely agree there is so many beautiful colours and even choosing them in darker shadows can still makes us look absolutely stunning. And yes, there is not so many occasions that we actually wear formal so we should enjoy this process and pamper ourselves. Every women deserve to feel special now and then. Opera gloves are extra accessory that makes look women absolutely gorgeous, I think ladies might think they are a bit old fashion. I feel like they can very easy way upgrade your appearance.

I'm very happy that it seems like we are on the same page most of the time :). I loved your sentence saying that every woman deserves to feel special now and then! :D And I obviously enjoyed your comments about opera gloves, yes, they make women look so elegant, refined and sophisticated! I don't know why they seem a bit old fashion, it's true that you see them less often but there are still formal events, like the historical balls that I love attending, where most ladies wear some gloves. The gloves are absolutely a very easy way to upgrade your look!!
