@@carriemarie9194 u can use the color remover. Just put where u colored ur hair put bag on it and let is sit for 20 mins that was the box said. I let sit on it longer like 40 mins i was keep check on it make sure its okay. If ur hair healthy u can leave it on longer (more rhen 20 mins)but keep check on it. After u have to wash for like 15 mins. Put lots of conditioner on it. They recommend not to dye right a way. I agree with that cuz when i dyed after it got back dark. If u dont mind have a funny color its gonna be a lots of different red shades😏 then just leave it the way it is for like 2 washed then dye it but still dye lighter like u want. Like u wanna be a level 7 then u have to use a level 8 cuz it will come out darker. And there is lots of other experience in videos. Do more research if u still not sure. But to be honest ur own experience will tell u the most. Oh and the stuff its stinky like a bad egg😥 if u need more info and maybe u think i can help just message me or something. (old photo up) love how he helped you 😊😀 I'm a trained hairdresser and usually I only dye ny roots (just incase I want to strip my hair) it's much easier to get rid of colour rather than a build up of colours from over the years. If it goes orange/red or what ever... Wait for your hair to settle after its been stripped then put (if you do it at home) a box dye of blonde with ashy tones to counteract the warm tones. Works wonders and you don't end up buying toner after toner to keep it blonde. X

I've used this before and unfortunately have to use it again because the Clairol Nice 'N Easy Dark Brown I just used today turned my hair black (my hair is normally medium brown)! It was actually $19 at CVS here in LA! I should make Clairol pay for it! After applying the Color Oops and waiting 20 minutes, you literally have to rinse your hair for 20 minutes. Don't do it for less time than that. It seems excessive and a waste of water but that's what does the trick.

Bit of a late post on this but cut a long story short, I got platinum blonde done at the salon, long process, took MONTHS because I went from purple to blonde but 3 weeks ago I had a mental breakdown and dyed my hair black BLACK, just one layer so I went back to the hair dressers and she said there's nothing she can do without bleaching it... she did a test strand and my hair snapped off so will this work on damaged hair??? Does color oops get rid of all the dye? Because I have natural highlights, and when I went from bleaching my hair to black, brownish blonde streaks and patches kept appearing. Then when I used this it went from black to a dark brown with blondish brown patches and streaks with reddish tints. Think of a tortoiseshell cat. That's how it looks. O.o But the blonde it turned isn't any blonde I've ever used so it's weird. More patches even keep appearing and I'm not sure if it's because I've been going out in the sun more or what.

The blue black hair dye tells me you use black dye that doesn’t have ammonia so it should come out easier. If you used black hair with ammonia then it’s just going to turn dark brown.

What shampoo did you use? My daughter used Color Oops and it didn’t work. She went from blonde to brown with a 28-day wash-out (that’s not washing out). I read somewhere the sulfates wash the Color Oops right out and allow the dye to set back in.
