My brother in Christ, he was literally a heavy smoker for YEARS, it was actually destroying his voice and body so badly that he actively had to force himself to stop because he was starting to actually struggle with singing. He's STILL struggling with the after effects of smoking most of your preteen/teenage life, just because he's able to belt out crazy stuff on the studio version does NOT mean that it'll be equal to the live version because Andy has ALWAYS been a very active performer (walking around the stage, dancing, being theatrical, ECT), so he is actively DOING shit while he's singing, in the studio you're literally just sitting in a room and recording the song; I genuinely encourage you, if you think I'm fucking with you, try singing something like he's doing after smoking an entire pack of cigarettes beforehand. You won't sound the exact same, but kinda similar because that's what smoking does. It RUINS YOU. If you don't care for him being himself without wanting to overexert himself, stick to the studio version.

Said it in another comment reply here, he's an ex-smoker, I believe he smoked up until he was a young adult before he realized that the cigarettes would literally prevent him from singing and performing like he's used to; or like you're used to. That, and this is a live version, in a studio you're usually stationary whilst singing, while live, Andy prefers to be active and theatrical the best he still can. It's hard to hit a note properly when you can't control your breathing properly, but he still tries, for us and for himself.
