There was an interview of Andy on demand on my TV, and my mom had always said he looked really feminine, well when she watched that she was literally blown away at how deep his voice is. She was all, "I was NOT expecting him to sound like a man! And hey, he's pretty good looking there." haha, just thought I'd share.

Went to that show with a bunch of kids form NJ (they didn't come to NJ thanks to Sandy) and we had the best times of our lives. I saw them in NYC but PA def was great. Andy is such a great guy and so inspiring

It was something that just happened as a side effect. Andy has said that a million times. He's not saying that they are role models it just turned out that people look up to them. They always stress that they are a rock band an nothing more but it's not like they don't see that their music is in fact life changing and life saving. Whether he's nobody's hero or everyone's hero, he is still a major factor in some peoples lives that we are all grateful for.
