This movie is deep, raw and real. There were times I had to pause it and brrreatheee, however, I watched to end and I am glad I did. I love their honesty and that they were able to work through their difficulties. I wish EVERY couple could watch this. That thing call life has its ups and downs, yet true love will SURVIVE any and EVERYTHING!!! Kudos to the entire cast, 📢 GREAT movie👍🏽

Great movie....so believable because of actual events. They were two ppl facing serious issues in their lives. After realizing they had to come to terms with their own biases that is when they started to heal their marriage, a compromise.

Then you definitely don't need to be in an interracial relationship....because my fiancé and I face this harsh reality. We have learned to work through the biases and prejudice of the world and our own to grow with each other.

Exactly. But it's not like this in reality for everyone. Especially if you choose your partner wisely and you're already on the same wavelength.

It was a good movie. The wife is a difficult person for sure. Not many men would stay with her. Black or white. Her hubby kissed the ground she walks on. That's the only reason she married him.

Difficult person you say? What the hell did he see in her? Sad part about it, there are wives in real life just like this monster. Not going to say what he should have done or not. Marriage is for keeps, God doesn’t like divorce, those involved in difficult marriages must work their way through it. Thurman’s character Jordie, did not become that since they were married, that, race, race, race” issue was always there. Some of us find it repulsive to be talking about race 24/7, people who do that become bitter, entitled individuals grossly in need of inner peace.

Yep! That part when he comes home and she’s showing him the news about Kobe was unbelievable. She seemed possessed when he said he didn’t know if Kobe was guilty of rape. Is that the discussion you have with your spouse when the man just died?!! What a nut job!@@vimbaideliwemiga9398

As a woman of color...the husband WAS the better person. He was able to rise above ..."LOVE bears ALL things, BELIEVES ALL things, HOPES ALL Things, ENDURES ALL things...LOVE never fails. 1 Cor 13:7,8a. He LOVED his family above ALL else.

This story is so real. Seems like I was watching my family. I think the wife was really annoying me. I am grateful her husband wanted his family and he tried all he knew to make it work. She was just killing the dream. Thankfully, by God's grace yes, God's grace. My heart was lifted.

Wow, wow, wow I enjoyed that. So many beautiful aspects to it. So many themes. It was beautifully written, directed and shared. I could go on and on. So much education could come out of this. The scenes, photography and music... I loved so many things and a few things I didn't love. As I say when I have seen a good movie 🎬, keep em coming...

What an interesting movie pertaining to interracial marriage and the conflict that comes with it. No marriage is perfect even within your own race. People are people and we have opinions and flaws.

Halfway through and good grief the wife is completely insufferable and wound up. She’s a walking contradiction. Even trying to control and tell her brother what’s good for his own family. Sheesh.

First thing, put God first in your marriage.. and I am a follower of Christ and not BLM or any other group. Well, I am in the kingdom of God's group. And can you writers stop using the Lord's name vain 😮😢 unbelievable! And parts of the movie is just so unrealistic because blacks do not get upset over the terms blacklist, that whole list she was writing is ridiculous 🤔 stop to hate people and Repent and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior...time is running out and God will see no color or race on judgment day.🙏❤️❤️ Our God is a God of love John 3:16 for he so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life..❤ love you all..

The part when he gets a phone call on his friend that died. I know what that's like. Had a close friend who died almost 2 years ago but it was not covid. He was sick for a long time, and I did not see or know anything about it. Because of the covid restrictions could not go to the funeral at that time made a KZbin eulogy video dedicated to him his family and other friends.

What is so attractive about that one f word that everybody loves to use in particular in movies I'm not counted how many times it's used in the movie because I'm not watched because of it exclamation mark it's absolutely uncalled for. Some of the best movies that's ever been doesn't have a word of profanity in it why do you people feel it's so necessary to do the f word 20 or 30 times maybe even more in a movie what a lack of vocabulary and a sign of ignorance and Ale bread.
@gailmurray9120Ай бұрын
You are right, in a way 😊. To not include the F-bombs wouldn’t be authentic. It how some people talk when they’re not angry much less when they are. Let’s be honest that wife was so critical of him and miserable with herself that it could have driven some men to do more than F-bombs!
