They were underrated, I think. The musical arrangements, singing, dancing, choreography, etc were of a very high standard. They also had great support acts and guests. It was marvelous variety entertainment too. They are missed by many! Thank you for your comments!

Just a further response to you, to thank you so much for all your very helpful, supportive and valuable observations on this music video. I agree so much with what you say and share the kind of fond memories you described. Such happy times! As for those bullies and their attempts at brain washing with their hateful, twisted and delusional ideas, based on paranoria and goodness knows what else, I should think, I have had to delete their comments. I think we are all sick and tired of their ridiculous remarks. However, in the process, I am afraid some of your comments were deleted as part of the YT default process, and I am very sorry about that, since that is the last thing I wanted. Hope you understand. Best wishes to you!

@@wordsmith52 just proves my point. Nothing I said was actually offensive. In fact I agreed with Tash, that her idea was a good idea re 'mocking' us. What do they think "hold your hand out, naughty boy!" and "Who were you with last night.... It wasn't your sister, it wasn't your Ma - ha ha ha ha ha-ha ha-ha" were getting at? Mocking men getting caught out, yet people laughed and filled the stalls. What a sad state of affairs, Edwardians would think they were mad. Dear oh dear. Freedom of speech all but gone 😔 😢

We ate buttered muffins together as a family and watched it as entertainment. Sorry, was that too middle class (we were working class black/white TV) sounding and offensive to people who didn't toast muffins on the fire? What on earth is offensive in that?

Some familiar voices there from way back. Great arrangements and polished vocals as always from George's outfit.

It's like when a person has buck teeth and they walk into a room and see someone pretend to have buck teeth. Or a Chinese person walks into a room and someone starts saying "Ching, ching, chong" and uses their index fingers to slant their eyes. You know when you are being mocked and made fun of by others and it hurts. When people respect the dignity of other people, whether individually or as a group, they don't make fun of them. That's all I am saying. Does what I'm saying make sense to you?

It's a fine line between imitation and mockery.... but we do learn by copying others so you don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water which is where we are at now.... i even think a kind of vicious sending up may be a natural part of gaining control of the copying process...... actors are the bravest people in the world..... when it is used by powerful people with agendas to further their greedy and gleeful wantings..... it gets really ugly really quickly.... and that goes for cancellations of popular entertainment at least as much as anyone doing the entertaining.... so .... but going over the line is part of the copying process as I say... but sincere imitation is the most sincere form of flattery... most folks just get it as a fun cultural exchange but when it is used as a morality issue by those in the offended business .... it can simply be a way to get a head in the wicked world.... by making someone like Donald Trump into a poster boy for white evil we can all join his hate club and feel good doing it.... and we can love seeing him sent up .... but the most powerful mimicry is the closest and most sincere.... life is ridiculous.. do the world a favor and expand your sense of the ridiculous.... encourage kids mimicking skills and learn to do it with joy and love and lets all have a bit of fun together.... Paul McCartney is an artistically fine fine mimick and has used those skills creatively and is up there with the best songwriters in the world in any decade in the last 60 years ......yet he's left out of Eurovisions Liverpool Tribute.... Stealing history by neglect is an agenda and you think you are being PC and helpful but you are being murdered in you dotage by the removal of the cultural touchstones of your life, and you wonder what was of value in your existence.... and you've been talked out of the best bits.
