Not really, the only dark thing about the movie was the beginning, after the credits ended the rest was typical Marvel, they could have made this movie more grounded instead of giving the characters plot armour, like Natasha fall from stuff like every 2 minutes, and they could have killed Alexei or Melina to give more dramatism to the movie, now we have all them alive and not with Natasha for no reason at all

I genuinely don’t understand why some people hate this movie. I thought it was one of the better MCU movies to date. That being said, this film made it more obvious than ever before that Natasha deserved her own movie years ago. A lot of the story beats in this movie would have hit so much harder if we had seen at least one other black widow film in phase one or two. Draykov was a good villain but he would have been an amazing villain had he faced Natasha before and gotten away. I think a movie about Nat, Clint, and her defection to shield would have made this movie 100 times better.

The reason many people hated this movie was just people they hate a female lead, it’s the same reason many people hated Captain Marvel, and are now hating on She-Hulk even though it’s not even out yet. The fact we waited so long for a Black widow movie is kind of weird cause you know if this came out 10 or 5 years ago, it wouldn’t be the same movie it is today.
