Black-winged Stilt call | Himantopus himantopus

Here Black-winged Stilt calls, both individually, and within a group as well a defensive call of a bird protecting a nest site. Black-winged Stilt, Himantopus himantopus is a very widespread species through much of Asia, Africa and Europe and the strident bird calls of this species are a familiar sound to many bird watchers in these areas.
