Every time someone is talking about the rich aunty, they always refer to the aunty that's rich, SINGLE and no kids. Most of these aunts are lonely with lots of health problems when they get 70. Your moms ask you to take your aunt to her appointment because she don't have a husband or kids to help her. I never heard someone call someone a rich aunty that's married without kids.

And yet, statistically, it's the men who've abandoned their children/ruined their families so much that they're the ones who end up alone. It's insane that in 2023 y'all think the only way a woman won't be lonely is if she cuts herself off at the knees with your big-headed children. Big yikes. You hate/judge single mothers/you hate your own mothers/you hate childless, upwardly mobile women (unless you can sponge off of them). Degeneracy.

The part about the health issues varies so not true. Rich aunties refers to the sisters of our mothers who were highly sought after attractive women who either put their careers first or they were know for dating and or marrying multiple times, usually men with money if they didn’t have their own. And physically in shape women because that’s how they got to a bag by always appearing attractive and in the right circles. With no kids of course by choice because the want and need to look physically attractive. The only aunties I know with health issues are the ones that eat a lot and can usually throw down in the kitchen and definitely not rich or tied to many men and usually bitter at the rich aunties😂

"If love doesn't find me". This in of itself is inherently a bad way to look at relationships. Love finding you implies you had to do no work. Relationships (and marriage!) Are work. I don't hear "if money doesn't find me, I guess I'll just be broke". So how does this not make it seem that some women care more about money and/or working for money, than a relationship and/or working for and to preserve the relationship?

It terms of this rich auntie thing is similar to other situations. It doesn't matter the path. It's the results of where you are in the end. So you can choose to be a rich auntie or just be there by happenstance, what you're going to see is majority of them are not happy to be the minorities of the group are going to be the vocal leaders of it. So when you see a doctor, that's 47 that has her own place but is alone. You're going to think about that minority group that keeps telling you that we're all happy. However, the numbers show that if you are single and childless by around 38, you're most likely unhappy. That's just facts.

So we know how to weight what guests say based on their results. Because some could just come and chat all kinds of baseless stuff and we need to understand where it comes from. That is the only definition that I've heard for rich auntie. And going off that I agree with Eli point before all hell broke lose. That non family stuff is harming the community. Bruh. The cap is strong in these women. Why would you go to a club just to dance with your lady friends and not dance with men? So if men stop going to clubs would women still go? Not counting the gay clubs? Just weird. Men end up in the friendzone because women want boyfriend benefits from the guy they are not attracted to and not the potential relationship. If she tells him directly that she's not interested in him and feel free to move on, she's losing the boyfriend benefits that she gets from the guy provides. She gets someone to talk to, protection when they are out and some provisioning to a degree all without having to give him any girlfriend benefits (i.e. box) Great episode though and keep up the good work.

Shawty all the way to the left with the glasses is a W. The problem with so many of the women on this show is because they don’t understand how to separate themselves from the generalization. It’s crazy how it was 4 women and only 1 understood that you must use a generalization.

The fact that a woman or some women, have a sense that they need a man (or the kind of man) to put her in her place is crazy to me 😂🤦🏾‍♂️ I believe she’s trying to paraphrase a need for “leadership” when out of order or misguided. When being misguided or out of order is the first issue. Not just the kind of man needed.

"Rich Auntie Syndrome" is a very selfish mentality. It's almost worst than the "Ms.Independent" syndrome. Especially for the Black women who prioritize their careers & vacation trips. I have no idea why they went so hard for rich aunties when none of them are what they speak of. The real question is are rich aunties happy? Being older I can tell you I have never met a woman who is happy being a rich auntie, they are making the best of their situation, they ran out of time and are living wiith the consequences. They are not going to settle down with a guy making less who won't allow them to travel, and they have to keep working to remain 'rich'. ' To truely be rich means you can take off a couple of months out at a time to enjoy your riches, not many single woman are able to do that, so then 'rich' is questionable. I think including married 'rich' aunties into the equation was odd, cause most times than not they are rich with their husbands and not alone, and the reason they may have a rich auntie title is because the couple were not able to concieve together and not because they didn't want kids.
