If I see one more comment saying my argument is irrelevant because I CHOSE (once again I edit my own content) to be truthful to MY audience and state I was a fan of her music in the past I will scream. The issue is you guys expect perfection in everyone when that will never be the case nor will I ever display that. Yes, I create commentary content but I look at the full picture of every situation hence why you will NEVER see me bash any individual on this here internet. As I soon enter my 24th year of life I have chosen to cut out a lot of secular music so no I don’t listen to her any longer nor a lot of female rappers. However, this is a JOURNEY so they aren’t cut out cold turkey. I listen in moderation and have opened my mind to different music genres. Regardless, we all are learning and growing everyday and that’s the beauty of the human experience. I did listen to Sexyy Redd when I would go out with friends, etc. Her music is catchy and considered “going out” music so it is completely unrealistic for me to claim I’ve never listened to or danced to the music. The point of the video was not to bash any black woman, but to mention we should see all kinds of black women besides just one stereotype because once again black women are NOT a monolith. So yall can sit here and bash black women all day, but that’s not what I’m about to do. Be blessed.

Let's be honest, are the lyrics of pound town raising our rank and status? Increasing effectiveness? Bringing honor? Simone Biles does her best to be a good influence for girls of all races and ethnicities from around the world. She presents herself in a way that's positive. The amount of grace she has is surprising. Example: When Kamila Valieva was accused of doping for taking medications that keep her alive because she has angina, Simone Biles started the Wear Red For Kamila Challenge to show her support for her throughout the month of January; red is the support color for heart conditions. I even participated in it because my cousin and two of my close friends have Mitral Valve Prolapse, which is a heart condition. Kamila Valieva showed her appreciation for the support she got from someone she probably wouldn't have expected. Simone Biles wore red leotards and red ribbons in her hair throughout the month of January. The goddaughter of one of the most powerful people in the world, Kseniya Sobchak, was a very active participant and she showed her appreciation for the gesture on social media. The ridicule that Simone Biles got for being an example and the ridicule she gets for presenting herself in a positive way is embarrassing.

The thing with exploitation is that it involves searching for something to exploit. If we can acknowledge that as humans everyone makes mistakes and deserves another chance in an opportunity, The Weeknd also acknowledged that black people are just like everyone else who deserves the same treatment. But we live in a world where black people are overly exploited for the smallest things they do. Where micromanage over everything! I've been told to calm down whenever someone ASSUMES that I'm going to be angry about something. Why is that? Exploitation! Black women like to argue and have sudden outbursts. Because that is the only type of black woman that is shown to the world. This makes everyone in the world assume that the majority of black women act the same. And what is the most egregious insults comes from black men. They are well aware that most black women don't behave like this. They are well aware of the environment that they put black women in and how it affects a woman's behavior in outlook on life. They are well aware of everything! But they go out into the world siding what everyone else throwing black women under the bus! Furthermore, they join in with the insults! I think that our black men are getting more pathetic each day. The Love Island conversation needed to happen. I’ve spent more of my lifetime (34 years old) around white people than any other race. When my people (black) started moving into the city I grew up in, they treated me worse than any white friend or person I ever had. Black boys would say I was too dark to wear a white bathing suit. They would physically abuse me. Tell me I’m an Oreo, black on the outside white on the inside. Too many negative things. I’d only dated black guys and a few Asians as well, never white until now. Now my children’s father (who is biracial) told me after I had our son that I was disgusting and he would never take me around his friends(because I got bad acne after birth) and calls me a sellout now. I can be a lot of things but not any different from any of my other white, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, or Asian female friends-it’s always only been the black guys and even women who have put me down and degraded me. Or left me because their mother said they should be with a white woman..so it does come from black women too now.

I can’t imagine any professional makeup artist with years of experience saying: “I’m gonna put ‘Pussy Hole Pink’ on your lips to complete this look.” Additionally, I can’t think of any Sephora or Ulta branch on this planet putting this set on their shelves! The packaging alone looks like something that I’ll find at my WINNERS - which is the Canadian version of TJ/TK Maxx. I could literally see it being displayed in the queue line… in the kids’ section no less! If I saw ONE copy while working, I’d question their buyers. With her starting with lip gloss, I (once again) can’t think of what she’ll call her next makeup products.

Why do we ignore the last 30 years of black women bashing black men on the day time talk shows that were nationally syndicated (Opraha). What about the Color Purple and all of the other negative movies that portray black men to be bad. We get a little podcast that's not nationally syndicated and all of the sudden we are talking so bad about black women. . I personally do not think there's anything all the way wrong with interracial relationships, marriages etc., as long as the intentions are that you and that individual love each other. The issue with mainly black men that I am always witnessing like the last guy who said he has always been with white women is in order to excuse your "preference" you bring down or degrade black women. I am not saying we do not speak on it as well, but I do not see us speaking on black men "being ain't ish or they do this that's why I'm with Chad or Brad" as often as I see black men always bringing up black women in the most negative light. They usually only do this due to self-hatred, issues with their mother or other women in their family, or they probably didn't find a meaningful relationship with one or two black women and now we all have to pay. It's honestly crazy to me because, I know so many black women who no matter what a black man does wrong we gon stick beside them, but we aren't given that same grace. Then the moment a major social issue pertaining to a black man occurs they expect us to dust off our capes and protect them but where's our protection, where's our respect? And yes, I understand that as what most of us see in the media many Black Women are portrayed disrespectfully but if we all aren't one monolith and i believe many black men know this (also from the black women in their lives) then why still treat as such?

They don’t need to know you to act this way towards you. It’s weird and quite frankly disgusting behavior. Idk how women of other races think they have a one up on blk women. If your only valued by your “man” when he is disrespecting blk women. It should be a red flag because it’s a character flaw.
