Quick question: Please, why does it seem okay when women move aboard to find fulfillment but then when men do it, for the same purposes, there seems to be pushback, especially from BW? Case in point: The recent talking points from KZbinrs within the BW and divester community aka Cynthia G and the likes?

Mexico has renowned health care as does Costa Rica..for way less than the US. That's 1 thing I hear many nurses say here. Like Stephanie says health care in the US is the MAIN reason to leave. My tag line is "I can be anywhere in the World Today!" If is possible to put Gullahtraveler in a container and ship her wherever.... I'm there. Enjoyed Bahia Brazil in my 40's for 1 week, if I didn't have a 10 year old, I wouldn't have returned. Being with Expats that look like me, is rewarding.

hi Patricia, yes I can say Tanzania is the best place to be.. I'm originally from Tanzania (born & raised) and I'm an American by naturalization. It`s the best place because of political stability... no unnecessary wars or uprisings. If you happen to go, please go to Kilimanjaro area or Zanzibar. Regarding medical care, get yourself a medical insurance. It`s about $800-$1000 per year. Hospital wise, get taken care in Dares salaam hospitals or government hospitals because it is where the good doctors and costs less and also is where you can get good medicines . GOOD LUCK!!!😀

Please 🥺 know that, plenty & Some seniors don't want to be called grand mother or by Mrs or miss & just by their nick name or first name 📛 & more comfortable with the more relaxed way of communicating with them As they want a younger type of perspective communicating feels more at ease & comfortable and doesn't really harp on or focus hard on the seniors age. Having respect for our seniors who are very young 🌱🌹 in body 💪👁️👁️ spirit & mind these days and want to be seen as young 🌱🌹 mature exciting fun people these days!!!!! I was so excited to watch this until she said it's for Black women over 60. I'm not Black or 60. I'm Puerto Rican. Can I be included too? I'll be 49 tomorrow. I've been wanting to leave for a while. This is encouraging to know that I can do this. I have time. My dream of living abroad can happen. Thank you for this. I was feeling so stuck today. I drove around but had nowhere to go. I returned home and this popped up on KZbin. They must've known I wanted to run away. (Btw, just because you're Black Women doesn't mean you don't have a voice for all women. You deserve to be heard by women of all races and ethnicities but when you say it's for Black women only over 60..well we will be 60 someday but we can't change our race or ethnicity. I'm really bad at explaining myself sometimes. I hope you get the gist and no one is offended by my words. I'm just saying to think broader. Don't make your audience smaller when it can be broader. What you say resonates will all of us.)

I like that you said these wonderful women inspire many women. I think both are true. It inspires women who may have had others tell them they cannot do something because they are black, so it’s great for black women to see this. And to your point inspiring too others…women and men!

One reason they make the group specifically for black women over 60 is because these women face a unique set of challenges that others are less likely to face. Black Americans, in general, are inexperienced when it comes to travel, especially internationally, and most would never dream this could be a reality for them. Being a woman makes you more vulnerable, so there are certain considerations you must make when traveling internationally to ensure your safety. And of course being over 60 brings it's own set of unique challenges. While I understand and appreciate your comments on reaching a broader audience, sometimes black women create spaces like this because they want to serve a specific demographic and aren't necessarily looking to attract everyone's attention. Being a black woman can be tough sometimes, and they don't always feel welcome or comfortable in certain spaces, so it's a blessing to have spaces like this that are tailored to black women's unique mindsets, desires, and any obstacles they might face. Have you searched out any similar resources for Latina women? Maybe you could start your own group!

I'm much like Deborah. I was not looking for any particular thing, but when I stopped my computer on you, Stephanie, I decided to listen in and I liked what I was hearing. I had plans to execute, so I decided to keep listening to you guys. The information is very helpful. I'm 74 and I'm ready to travel somewhere. Different places just to see some of the world. My doctor told me whatever I decide to do, let him know so if I need a physician in a different country, he has a professional all over the world. I'm ready to travel. I have true friends all over the world. I purchased a roundtrip ticket to Korea right before the breakout of the Covid-19 pandemic. I plan on going in August of 2024. South Seoul Korea. Instead of a hotel, I think I may stay with a Korean friend or stay in an AIRBNB. Whatever, I will continue for watch your videos. They are so inspiring. Thanks for sharing. I'm watching this video today. (11-19-2024). 😊

Hello Deborah, Stephanie and Roshida! I just suddenly came upon your KZbin channel, and I am pleasantly surprised that it popped up. I am a confident, beautiful, attractive 67 year old (aka 25 forever) woman and I am an empty nester, however, both my adult children have recently moved back in with me. It is a good situation, and we have all agreed that we are on our own individual journeys (they paid bills that we have negotiated upon). I am interested in finding out how women (I am divorced) who travel and visit on their own to foreign countries work and plans things out. I do travel a lot on my own and find it to be easy instead of waiting for procrastinator's who say they want to travel with me, but never do. I am very comfortable traveling on my own. it gives me the freedom to plan and make things happen my way. My question is what countries do you free comfortable and safe in ? How do men treat you as an independent woman? Do you go on dates? How are you treated? Are you treated differently if things don't go well as expected on the dates? Do you feel comfortable traveling to places alone? What are the rules, policies or laws concerning women's protection in the countries that you now reside or visit? I have so many questions and want to learn more.
