Oda's just saving the fight for the flashbacks whenever law finally meets back up with luffy and tells him what happened

Definitely, some interesting similarities we've seen in these last few chapters. From Law and Kid who helped defeat Kaido and Big Mom to both finding themselves completely defeated by Shanks and Blackbeard. I get the idea is to show how Shanks and Blackbeard could be in leagues of their own or how perhaps they were in way over their head to try and take them on by themselves, but I do wonder how things will play out going forward. The idea of Kid answering to Shanks could be fun to see (although who really knows what Shanks will do towards the end), but what happens with Law going forward is going to be far more concerning. Either way, I do wonder if this will be marking our end with these two and we might be cutting back to Luffy and the gang in the next chapter (or if we will follow Law or Coby for another chapter and we see what the fallout is going to be from here).

They are not even close to Yonko Material. First they are not even close to be strong enough. Yes they "defeated" big Mom in a 2 vs 1 but in a 1 vs 1 both Kaido or Big Mom would have just ducked them. Also if Big Mom never fell in the hole she probaly won. Also they have besides Killer/Zulong Bepo not a single heavie Hitter in their Crews. So nope they where never close to being Yonko Material. The only way i would have seen that happen is if they would have combined their Crews and even then it would be kinda hard to tell.

As much as I would have loved to SEE Law vs. Blackbeard, the outcome was obvious given that Blackbear is being poised as the main antagonist; so, I dont mind too much that it was off-panel.

@fbi if we are looking at their abilities as we know them. Sure. If we are looking at the overall story as a whole? Not so much. If Law were the one to diffuse the looming threat of Blackbeard, the story wouldn't have much direction to go for Luffy and the Straw Hats. Moreover, if Law won, there is no way that Law would have let someone as dangerous as Teach escape if he had the chance to kill him. Story would kinda just be over at this point if anyone TRULY toppled Teach (not just handing him an L, but actually disposing of him) aside from Luffy.

But we know Law would have geting easy his Ass kicked by either Kaido and Big Mom in a 1 vs 1. Hell he even won against Big Mom only thanks to the hole and this was together with Kidd and at they end of this fight both of them where done.

Honestly, I think this is going to push law and kidd back in luffys path. They worked together and had a legendary victory over TWO yonkos at the same time, and now that law and kidd went their separate ways, they lost HARD. completely crushed. "Lose alone, win together" Oda is using these Ls between kidd and law to set up something big.

Nope they may show up one maybe two more times for Assist but thats it. The Supernovas where never planed by Oda to be such a big thing and they already had plenty of Showtime. Now they where reduced to act as Hype Material for Shanks and BB. Also it was clear that none of them would become a Yonko since their Crews are way to weak for that.

It wouldn't make sense. Most of times we see Dragon he's at the Rev. Army base. Besides the Rev. Army has an insignia that's pretty recognizable. Just like people found out that Lin Lin and Kaido had red poneglyph, it would stand to reason that word would get out about the Monkey D. Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army having, one also. On top of that why/how could Dragon in his spare time cruise an unmarked ship?

And again Luffy is not realy somebody that sits down and listen or has the mental capacity for complex explantions about someones Power. Also if Aokiji kills Garp it could be one of two things. The classic Trope with the Pupil overcomes and kills the Master or the some realy deep Sword Operation with Aokiji at the end betraying BB.

If Aokiji really has become one of Teach's Titanic Captains, i now wonder how it will affect which of Luffy's crew will face whom unless he decides to do the same thing Drake did back in Wano. After all, if the next person Luffy invites to join his crew will be the 10th & "final" one, then the only best candidates are: - Vivi the Political consultant/advisor - Carrot the Lookout person - Yamato the Logkeeper - Hancock the "Beast Tamer" However, I am also opened for any other candidates you may think of.

I believe the Man Marked with Flames is Xebec look at the flaming skull on their crews flag however I believe Xebec currently will be operating under a different name because in Chapter 563 Freezing Hell on a list of Impel Down inmates we have a level 5 inmate named Roche Thomson which I believe is Xebec having survived from the god valley under a different name or a clone of Xebec like Stussy as they share the same historical counterpart in the form of Roche Braziliano who mysteriously disappeared either they went solo during Blackbeards jailbreak or joined Blackbeard as an ally.

On top of that they'll have to come up with the money...which was probably on their ship sinking to the bottom. Maybe Law can get a ride from Luffy but I wouldn't expect kidd back anytime soon. I told you guys last week that Garp didn't destroy the Island, lol. People once again overexaggerating. Even if he is weaker in his old age, still doubt he could've in his youth. I don't think he can beat Kuzan. I'm assuming Kuzan has very strong haki and combined with his devil fruit which he's very experienced with. Though it was hilarious seeing him kick it back with the Blackbeard pirates joking around, lol. As for Law, Oda wasn't going to kill him off but he got completely dominated and his crew, for the most part, looks like it's dead. Kid is hopefully dead with his crew (doesn't make sense if he survives that). Bepo had to sacrifice the rest of the crew to save Law. Though I'm curious who this burning scar/face man is. There was a hint it was someone who worked for the government and if I recall one of the Elder 5 has a scar that resembles a burn, but it doesn't make sense for him to be travelling alone on a ship. So it's interesting to try and figure out who it is, but more than likely a new character. Kid mentioned him before he left Wano. Though I've no idea how he found that info out.

The outcome of Law & Teach's fight doesn't surprise me one bit, even though I am glad the Heart Pirates are still alive for now. But after learning about it, I do wonder how Luffy's battle with Kizaru & Saturn will really play out! Because let's not forget that despite being an Emperor, Luffy's still a Supernova like Kid & Law at the end of the day! So there's a 50/50 chance that he could lose to the Navy Fleet whether he let's his arrogance & overconfidence cloud his judgment, or prove even people like Lucci that he is indeed worthy of being an Emperor by defeating 2 of the Government's most powerful forces by any means necessary!

But I understand completely why Oda put this Egghead arc, it’s to show Yonko Luffy’s power plus the Main Motive is to Increase Luffy’s Bounty from 3 Billion Berries because Kid and Law got annihilated by 2 Yonko so obviously Luffy needs a bounty increase before Elbaf or meeting BB or Garp or Kuzan.

Well, at least Law lasted longer than Kid... 🥲 That's what happens when you tackle the big bosses without plot armor from your alliance with the protagonist.

Its not only about Plot Armour. Unlike Luffy Both Law and Kids Crews are way to weak overall to play Yonko. Sure Kid had Killer and Law Bepo and even he would need Zulong to be a threat. But besides that what do they have well nothing but small fries and this is one of the main problem why both of them never could become Yonkos. Well that and both of them are to weak.

Law will definitely be back at the final war. His fruit will be used to save luffy, and sadly he'll die.

This would make Luffy Imortal thats not realy something he wanted so nope not gonna happen. Also Luffy is not the Person that would acept that.

I guess Luffy will overpower every character in the war but BB will do something dirty that’ll put Luffy at a disadvantage then Law or Kid might show up to help or save Luffy from BB.
