Hancock is actually one of the strongest in the series. Her df affects everyone and anything. Living and non-living it doesn't matter. She petrified sea prism stone handcuffs, pacifistas, weaponry, and turned ice into stone. She is a haki master and has all three types of haki. Her sisters have advanced haki and we just need confirmation for her having advanced conquerors and she will be top 5. She can counter any df with her ability as once she converts something into stone, that is it, you can't change it back, can't undo it or do anything about it, only she can.

By Blackbeard's very own definition of victory, he actually lost against law. Although his attack on Amazon lily wasn't entirely fruitless, he kidnapped koby to use him as a leverage. But that was never on his agenda in the first place. He did that in the spur of the moment. Blackbeard always does things for his agenda and goals, rather it be fighting, raiding impel down, causing a war etc, if he fails to fullfill his agenda and goals, then it's a failure for him. Defeating law means nothing for Blackbeard If he couldn't get the ope ope no mi, for which he came to fight law in the first place. So for Blackbeard, many things aren't going in his favour as compared to before , where every plan of his came to fruition. Also he wasn't as impressive against law as much as people hype him up to be. Law did far better in the fight than I had expected from him.

That's not the same at all. If they started the match facing each other and when the bell rang, they put you in a headlock. Sure, you won the fight. This isn't that. This is like The Rock had a match with Seamus and charged him. But just before he got close enough, Jason Statham teleported onto the Rock's back and put him in a headlock! Blackbeard was not part of the fight. Boa was focused on taking down Coby after turning all the marines and pirates invading her island to stone. Blackbeard then snuck her while she was midair and unable to dodge or react to him.

Bringing up hypothetical scenarios means nothing to me, Id rather stick to what actually happens. Also he didn’t jump Law at all, they both had their crews there. Burgess threw a mountain that didnt do anything, then the Shachi and Penguin started attacking BBs crew from below, then Van Auger tried shooting law, Jean Bart blocks it, Law tags BB, Van Auger saves BB from falling into the sea. Then the rest was 1v1 between Law and BB, Law lost. Law was never jumped at all, it was a battle between crews and the crews played a minimal but vital role. BB beat Law fairly

Larry be acting like characters in one piece in the wild west and have honorable duels. You’re dealing with pirates and BB is the only character that shows all qualities of how you would believe a pirate would act. There’s no way boa gets a clean chance to defeat BB even if they jump her that’s the life of a pirate. Same way they did whitebeard. I hate they take away characteristics of characters to fit the narrative of their argument. Have to be unbiased in debates. One on one is taking away the characteristics of BB now if we are taking devil fruits away we have a better argument but seeing as though this is apart of the fight we have to factor in everything else as well. First off I would like to say, this was a very good debate video. But I have to say your boy Sebastian is such a diehard black beard fan to wear no type of common sense or logic, makes any sense to him. Hancock can use her abilities without being near you without shooting a heart or heart arrows but yet she can steal, petrify you then Black beard statement stands to be true. Also, one thing I would like to say that Sebastian is not thinking of is that Oda doesn’t make those type of mistakes in his dialogue. There is not much of confusion when the character themselves is stating feats that they can, or cannot do. If these moments do occur, it is a shocker to the character and the audience themselves that the character survived. Black beard doesn’t really know all the specifics of how Hancock devil fruit fully operates and works in that Sebastian is not considering. Also, there’s a major point that she is the only character that Blackbeard has stated in an aspect that he would be defeated the only other person that he states this to is Shakes, Akainu and Railey right after he arrives. Last thing just because you don’t see feats in the show itself to declare how strong a person is, does not mean that they’re not strong. The author did a great job building up her character to hold her at a status where she is strong mind you she was the first female that were introduced to that has conquerors Haki.

Blackbeard would be petrified the moment he gets his hands off of hancock, he admitted it himself, there's no cope out or argument against this fact, not all devilfruits are negated by haki, when she petrifies someone, it's like they are captured in a timecapsule, they can't think, they don't even realise that they were petrified. Only way to negate Hancock's ability is to divert your thoughts from her like momonga did. Sanji was petrified by s-snake, he couldn't negate it with his haki, and s-snake doesn't even use haki. Hancock is a really bad matchup for anyone who gets attracted by her beauty. We will know more when more details about Hancock's abilities are revealed. If you take Rayleigh's statement of him being unable to beat Blackbeard as a fact, then Blackbeard's statement that Hancock would definitely petrify him if he let her go, should be taken as a fact too.people really ignore obvious facts when it doesn't fit their narrative. Hancock would be a glass canon whenever she is up against opponents stronger than herself. Her ability complimented by her beauty remains one of the most overpowered and sure fire attacks till date. I didn't want to rant but i got frustrated from the biased arguments going on all around the community.

Maybe face to face acknowledgment, Blackbeard possibly would have lost.. but buddy has a GREAT point imo.. This why I have hate/love for the way oda chooses certain events bc he leaves things like this so ambiguous. To many off screen stuff goes down. The hax are annoying, the plot armor on some characters. Boa is stronger than Blackbeard overall imo. I think that's a fair assessment 🤔 but then again, who knows, when oda thinks this formula of demonstrating strengths/weaknesses/hax/plot/ and straight silly nonsense at times. One piece not worth arguing/debating over bc though the show is very entertaining and fun to watch sometime it's not so much bc of the inconsistencies throughout the entire show!

Blackbeard was concerned about the well-being of his crew and didnt trust her to not just destroy them. He has everything to lose by letting her go and nothing to gain. When he had the word of Rayleigh that she wouldnt do it, he let her go. Using the Gura Gura in that situation would likely just shatter their statues and kill his own commanders. Why would he take that risk. Her legs were free and she has shown she can kick over her head, why would she not try kicking him in the head to release her unless she knew her neck would be snapped from raw strength alone. Blackbeard doesn't take fights he finds risky to himself or his commanders, its just not who he been portrayed to be. We haven't seen his best because Oda is saving it for last, thats why we get Shanks bringing him to our attention early on. Shanks never got a scar from any of his duels with Mihawk, but BB landed a clean one. If BB can land a clean one on Shanks, how can you confidently say Boa wins?

I let go and you'll turn us to stone next, [...]. *It's impossible for any man not to fall under your spell*..." was not as her devil fruit being stronger than his or him not possibly being able to negate her arrows with haki, but that if he let's his guard down he migh very well fall for her beauty and not be able to counteract or defend himself against her devil fruit. In the way that falling under her spell would be succumbing to her beauty and therefore not being able to react, as all the other people who get caught by her arrows are shown with hearts on their eyes. That's the way I see also why he rather ambushed her, catching her off guard, rather than facing her square on, as he cannot trust himself to not fall for her beauty. That being also the reason for Boa saying that without her beauty, the Devil Fruit will not have the same effect. The same way Big Mom's Devil Fruit needing somebody to be afraid of her for it to take effect (See Jimbei leaving the BM pirates), Boa's probably works the best when someone actually falls for her beauty

To be clear, I believe this would be a close fight. The examples I give here are biased towards Blackbeard. BB is strong, but he isn't a gambler. As clearly shown multiple times, he will not take unnecessary risk. This is why he only lets Boa go when Rayleigh shows up and tells boa to turn everyone back. He even calls his crew stupid for getting turned to stone. Implying that he had a counter, keep in mind that he is the dark counter to Luffy, the first man to be unaffected by Boa's beauty. I believe BB is strong-willed enough not to succumb to her beauty. Not haki, but just not thinking of boa in a way to active her powers. Next, the fighting tactics of boa were clearly shown. Rain down arrows to get rid of the weak and charge any left standing. BB can absorb any projectiles with a wall of darkness, and if Boa charges, he can knock her out with the quick quick fruits or again absorb her into the darkness that he seemingly shapes however he wishes. And remember that all of the darkness he produces acts like a black hole pulling everything in and crushing it.

Blackbeard's statements for bonney and Hancock tells otherwise, he is a pirate afterall ,and the most realistic of all, he is a normal dude when we talk about his reaction to beautiful women. He had women all around him at his home base, he asked bonney to become his girl, and he admitted that it is impossible for any man to not fall for Hancock's trick, he probably doesn't know the counter for her ability, that's why he told his crew to sneak up on her rather than face her head-on, no matter how much stronger you are than Hancock,if you get petrified,then it's of no use. And I am a believer of the fact that not all fruits can be negated with haki, and Hancock's fruit is on top of that list. Blackbeard isn't some invincible guy peole make him out to be. And Blackbeard's chapter will be wrapped up before the final arc , the final nemesis for luffy is going to be the world government, not Blackbeard, Blackbeard is more of a rival than enemy.

Admitting that an ability would work isnt the same as Admitting you are weaker. Blackbeard was only saying that if he let her go and she betrayed their deal, he'd be stone. Both of their abilities are based on if they sneak you, they win. But weve seen from weaker characters that if they are ready for boa they can resist the effects. If BB wasn't stronger he wouldn't have beat her in the first place, it was her home turf, she had every advantage and he got the upper hand. They take things out of context way too often.
