I’m going have to call Larry one on one. To say katakuri wouldn’t join the cross guild doesn’t make sense. The cross guild is not a PIRATE CREW it’s an alliance that got figure head by buggy. Cross Guild is an organization NOT a pirate crew. It consists of Mihawk + Crocodile/Mr. 1 + Yonko Buggy & the buggy pirates. Cross Guild is not the Buggy Pirates. Buggy is just a founding member.

Well there’s several reasons why people won’t call Mihawk a conqueror yet. A. Not confirmed B. We only know Mihawk is superior with his sword. Not every sword attack requires conqueror’s to be strong C. You can be someone’s rival while specializing in something else. Shanks could be the conq specialist, while Mihawk is the sword specialist D. Unless we see a flashback of Mihawk and Shanks splitting the sky, or we see Mihawk and Zoro split the sky in the future, then that’s also a lack of feat. I think if I were to bet - Mihawk is likely a conqueror. It would make sense. But it’s in no way confirmed, and the arguments made in this video are quite compelling. There is NO subordinate conqueror, unless they are subordinate to a superior conqueror. That’s great evidence. If Mihawk is under Buggy (even just as a figurehead), then either Buggy is a stronger conqueror, OR Mihawk isn’t a conqueror. It’s a solid argument.

Nah, I don't see him joining Cross Guild and leaving the Big Mom pirates to get Pudding back because it would put his family in even more danger, he would have to leave the Big Mom pirates in Smoothie's hands' and she hasn't done anything to show that they would be safe with him gone. Crocodile and Mihawk are obviously allowing Buggy to be the figurehead for Cross Guild but them allowing it to happen speaks a lot about their character. Just from what we know about conquerors haki users they're too prideful to allow someone they don't respect to be above them, even if it's just for show. I just saw the Cross Guild episode. And no! Mihawk and Crocodile are not under Buggy. And they did not go to Buggy for help. Buggy was never supposed to be the head of the cross guild. After the poster was distributed is when Hawkeye says he didn't want the trouble of being an Emperor, and Crorodile sees the benefit of having Buggy as a figure head. They are not subordinates of Buggy. I agree with Larry in a lot of things. But he was wrong on saying that Croco and Hawkeye were under Buggy.

The life of yonko are getting crazy right now. People are challenging them, a war broke out with one already. And mihawk just wants a quiet life. And we know conquerors can have a quiet life because Rayleigh and whitebeard. Whitebeard sat back and let oden get packed. Rayleigh has been chilling on sabaody. And mihawk has nothing to prove. The page prior says superior skill to red haired. And STRONGEST swordsman (in the official). His portrayal is that he sits at the top. Buggy wouldn’t be the figurehead if mihawk didn’t want him to. Just like how luffy STAYED HIDDEN AND DISGUISED DURING THE GLADIATOR TOURNAMENT IN DRESSROSSA BECAUSE FRANKY SAID SO. Conquerors haki users aren’t attention seeking. They just do what they want. You can’t conflate the two. And what would you suggest mihawk do, tell buggy to spread new flyers, and have the government correct the yonko status? I mean because of the Big Mom pirates underworld connections, they might cut a deal with crocodile and buggy so help save pudding; but yeah no Katakuri would never serve under cross guild. They could make a deal to where cross guild helps them get pudding back, they give them a red poneglyph rubbing. Other than that I dont see them working together.

I'd say Kat would join, for 3 main reasons. 1) His flashback and fight with Luffy shows us that his love and desire to protect his family outweighs his pride. And there is no greater protection as a pirate than being part of a Yonko crew. 2) He has personal reasons to fight against Luffy, (rematch) Blackbeard (stolen sister) AND possibly Shanks (become family with the Giants to complete his mother's dream) 3) Croc and Mihawk are trying to gain wealth and military power to for a utopia. If they offered Kat an equal partnership like an alliance with Buggy still as the figurehead then I could see him joining.

I still look at it that neither croc or Mihawk are under buggy. The cross guild is just all of em grouped together and the WG just made buggy out as the leader, so going from that then I’d say kata wouldn’t look at it as him being under anyone, he’d just be working with them is all. So yes I think he would join it if the need presented itself. King of the L’s wrong again 😂

I understand Katakuri would join Cross Guild IF HE NEEDED TO but what situation would cause that? How likely is he to join and what would join even mean? Are they forming an alliance? Does he have to leave the Big Mom pirates? Is he working as a partner or is he working for someone? There are a lot of questions to answer.

If there was a reason for him to join cross guild I think he would do it 🤷🏻‍♂️ like I said I don’t see that as a pirate crew, but more of a pirate alliance. The WG were the ones to name buggy the leader not the actual pirates in the group.

Considering how cross guild isn’t really a group following one person I think there most definitely is a chance Kat would join them. Even more so if it was needed to protect his family. Kat values his family more than himself. That was the whole point of his backstory. Using Larry’s logic Garp wouldn’t serve under the marines just bc he has “conquerors” he would go on his own path to make the world a better place. Larry kind of contradicts himself in another video when he call Garp a coward for choosing to stay under the marines. However, Garp can do that bc he has a different goal that he believes can be achieved working under the marines. Another point is that both Zoro and Raleigh serve under other conqueror users. Zoro has his own goal and idk about Raleigh’s but they’re proof that if you have your own goal you can work under someone else and under this scenario katakuri would follow suit if teaming up with cross guild would accomplish his goal of saving pudding. I personally believe that if a conqueror user has their own goal/path they can work with/under another conqueror if it doesn’t interfere with their personal goal.

I think the biggest debate here is whether or not Cross Guild is a crew. Cross guild is an organization that has Buggy as the face but there are people in charge. Would Katakuri join the organization and be under crocodile and Mihawk should be the real question since buggy is just a tool. Also what makes a conquerer a conquerer is the second point of discussion here.

You are all forgetting one of the most important part of every anime and manga. No one strong would ever serve or be part of under someone who is weak. It is the other way around always the weak serve or be part of someone strong. In DBZ Yamcha, Tien, Picolo, Vegeta,18,and Buu became Goku's allies bec he is strongerthan all of them. In Naruto- Sakura always calls for Naruto because she is weak. Neji and Gaara becam friends of Naruto because he defeated them. Also Nagato( someone strong) let the 2 of them have a convo because he recognized that he is stronger than him after defeatng 6 Pains. Also all of the shinobi during the war listened to him because he is stronger than all of them. In Bleach-Inoue, Chad, Uryu helped Ichigo because he stronger than all of them. Alos Ikakau, Renji, Zaraki, Byakuya Ichigo's allies or friend because he defeated them and became stronger than them. In Reincarnated as Slime All of the 12 patrons of Rimuru became his subordinates because he is stronger than all of them. The List goes on. Every anime and manga is like that EVEN One Piece. Put that in your head.

Thank about it this way. Katakuri cares about his family more than anything but he also cares about his family’s reputation. Katakuri joining cross guild or allying with them temporarily would negatively affect his family’s reputation. Especially since he’s most likely the man in charge of the family now. So his actions affect more than just himself. I do see him taking the family though, it does depend on who got taken though. I do t think their doing anything for Lola sadly

Garp the hero is a conqueror haki user that and he remained a vice admiral cause he couldn’t bother to deal with the responsibilities of leading and governing the Navy… so it’s safe to say you can have conquerors haki users that would be will not to be the face of their respective groups… so I do think katakuri would join the cross guild if it will help his cause! Because the cross guild is just an alliance it’s just that crocodile and mihawk doesn’t have a lot of crew members so they don’t make up the bulk of the alliance

Even if Mihawk has Conquerers haki, (which I believe he does have) I still don’t see Katakuri joining any other crew besides strawhats grandfleet or forming his own crew.
