Just wow, I can't imagine how much time you put into that and compressed it into this 9-minute video. The work was so much worth the outcome, well done!

I was 100% shocked when you flipped it over and showed you did BOTH SIDES! I don’t know why you would only do one side but it was still a surprise. That’s a ton of work….

So, you casually wake up some days ago, telling yourself that you gonna punch a billion tiny holes in a piece of steel, and then push a million tiny balls of brass in it ? And the result is freaking beautiful !!!! Man... It's awesome

I remember years ago when I wanted to make an octagonal tsuba at work. I went to our machine shop after hours, found a piece of 2 1/2" octagonal stock, and cut a 1/4" thick piece off of it. It took a while. Right after that, I saw a 10 foot piece of 2 1/2" wide, 1/4" thick piece of flat bar. It dawned on me that it would have been much easier to cut a 2 1/2" piece off of the flat bar and cut the corners off. This remined me of that, because he just did what I did.

Absolutely perfect work. The precision you pay to every detail is simply breathtaking. I'm extremely curious about the complete wakizashi, but the creation of each piece is so interesting that I almost wish it took a little longer to finish everything.

It's beautiful but I'd suggest keeping an eye on it. I've heard that silver sulfide "whiskers" can form when silver is inlaid into steel. Might be a good idea to coat with something to protect it.
