First video outside of machining channels where someone actually knows what a bottoming tap is. And gas welding!

I like the little reminder to wait for the last 30 seconds. It's like it was meant just for me. I'm watching right to the end before commenting anymore. Great video. I have to make a bunch of bolts for my shed. It's like you're inside my head.

You've become my favorite blacksmith to watch. Your videos are always inspirational and put together well. I've learned a lot from you which has helped my own smithing.

Great video series! Well done. Also, coming from 30 years in Tool & Die....throw your 4-flute taps in the garbage. Get yourself some 2-flute taps. The only thing a 4-flute is good for is chasing already existing threads. Believe me, once you've broken off a crappy 4-flute tap in something that you've worked really hard on, you'll understand.

Die grinder and filling is a good spot for a short music clip. :) But then I can turn my volume up and down also. Great video!

I love the look of the finished product. I was curious as to how the slide handle was going to look, but it really does give it a unique look that’s nice. Great work again sir.

I like your short handled tap. I'm always afraid I'm going to break things using the longer handle that is on my junk one.

Unusual to see gas welding any more. Like your work.

Thank. I think gas feels like a better fit in forged work. But TIG would be as good if you ha e it.

Slide bolt looks great. Hopefully the cat don't learn the electric slide and open up the door. Just a little humor.

Another good video. It was good to watch something like that come together. What kind of filler rod was used in the welding? I just hope the cat can't reach the screws. They are some smart animals.

great handle, is there version of this that would go on a door that is flush with the wall and opens out? Or do you just put the fancy handle on the other side for those? (closet door)
@BlackBearForge5 жыл бұрын
I’ll show that at some point. But for the most part it’s just a surface mounted keeper like the bolt slides it.
