Adjust speed to 75% and turn off music, or down, and video is more life-like. Wow! 36 years before I was born... Very cool stuff. Check that V 12 engine about half way through! Can you imagine flying with only six or so instruments? Very mush like Schweizer training glider cockpit... Oh, how I miss my Citabria...

Reff 5:45...no masks because THERE WERE NO TOXIC FUMES....yet. Wood because cheap aluminum was not widly known yet. Glue(no fumes) because epoxy didn't exist yet. Learning takes time. Unfortunatly, sometimes people get hurt in the process. These people are doing what they know is right for the time. JUDGEMENT should not be a thing. Shut up...watch...LEARN

I am not sure what exactly to say. This speaks volumns about the new technology of mass production and the war effort. Right or wrong, I am not one to in anyway say. Other videos have spoken about the American mass production capabilities relative to the European model and the overwhelming success of free enterprise vs state run enterprises. The liberty engine works vs rolls Royce vs Packard s involvement and story with the Merlin says it all. Let alone the 🇺🇸 with 100 plus octane avgas. Can you say old spindle top with a 100k barrels a day for ... Ever.

Set down factory jobs are pretty much a buy gone thing of the past. Now days they make you wear steel toe boots and be on concrete floors for 10 to 12 hrs a day. It destroyed the nerves in my feet and now sometimes I can't even walk.

It's like the producers calculated, very hard, and with great enthusiasm, to find music which so overwhelmingly doesn't match the subject matter in any conceivable, logical, or elementary sense. Rock, would have been a horrible choice, but not horrible enough. Modern country, would have been a horrible choice, but not horrible enough. Even Disco, LOL, might have worked better. They really wanted to take it to the next level of incompatibility, to subvert the expectations in as majestic a way as possible. And they succeeded.

or build a plane from old bike frames . or timber ..two by four frame or ...some way simpler construction just crude wood and plyplates as wings , in a strong simple way l guess not glue then ,maybe just test strenght of timbers by weight test in middle see if cracks , .. would it work for a few flies at least , fun vid for youtube safer to remote control with man weight sandbag in seat. or old plane wings on old car drive till lifts no propeller ææ
