@@liamhgd581 it 'used to be' stated by tv licence when doing so, would give you a two year period of not receiving threating-mail from them....but this process will not stop them coming to your location (just to check that you're telling the truth, you understand). That period of time is not anything 'legally binding', it is an arbitrary period - determined by the tv licencing. Though what annoys me isn't the granularity of the data, rather the opposite, I want to know the actual sum total cost of asylum and how many asylees we've accepted. I also want to know if they are including accepted asylees in their legal migration figures (I suspect they are). The fact they're making it so difficult to know this information is very telling on how they think people will react to it.

Prior to that, thatcher was the opposite. She was transparent and hardened against criticism, which was why she was known as the iron lady. She was borderline ruthless. I personally don't like the tories, but in terms of transparency, they have a slightly better track record to labour, in my opinion.

In my experience if an organisation receives a grant or contract from any source, you have to provide minute details of where that money has been spent and usually by completing a quarterly financial return and report. This can be for grants of a few hundred pounds and yet the government are telling us they don’t keep up to date accounts linked to a contract issued for billions ? Silvertown tunnel, costs £180 million, as per actual published contract. TFL are billing us for £1 Billion. In addition, TFL are billing us an additional £1.2 Billion over 25 years, for “operational costs”. Thats £10 million EVERY WEEK, to operate the tunnel. Which comprises, lighting and ventilation, and toll collection. You can decide for yourself what is going on

This is a disgrace, my brother died in August this year, state pension for 6 months only as he only reached pension age earlier last year army veteran many tours of Ireland etc, we also found out my brother died from hep c he was a victim of the infected blood scandal, and 😢😢we had to scrape to pay for this funeral, he had some outstanding debts we needed to pay off and we were told his funeral would have to be paid first, and we are paying out money for parasites😢😢😢😢

I have been involved in applying for local, central government funds and EU funding for a range of projects. All had to say how the funds would be spent. Once a project was successful.the organisation were required to submit monthly, quaterly and annual reports. This was to include spending, any income streams e.g. running chargeable training sessions and number of clients worked with and outcomes. So why are public service sectors working with asylum seekers not being held to account?
