Legal view on how on earth does Katie Price get away with ignoring numerous driving bans; driving and crashing after consuming alcohol and other misc drugs; seemingly commit further offences ..... and nothing happens (apart from her having yet another holiday abroad!) Legal explanations and coverage needed please BBB (and legal hound). Thankyou.

Claire, because Katie Price is a 'STAR' !!!!! She is Not a plain normal person like you and I. 'STARs' are different and have LOTs of $$$$$$$, and therefore are treated differently. ( sarcasm )

But why do judges and the legal system treat her so? It's not as if she has to care for her children 24/7 as she's always on holiday @@tpv59 . Would like a legal view on this frustrating case please @BlackBelt Barrister.

there have been videos released about Katie Price and why she keeps getting away with it on this very channel
@Tillys_Travels2 жыл бұрын
Yes@@Carlosyabrudy,those were mini updates inc the fact the police were appealing; she may face an appeal; that entitled 'KP pleads guilty to DD' talks about usual punishments, but not about her; (and one entire video now says Private Views Only.) He read out the laws in respect of the offences, but I would like honest legal personal opinion as to why each time the the judge ruled the way he did. There are a string of previous driving offences and convictions which surely would have been covered by a custodial sentence, as the threat of fine etc appear not to have had any influence on her behaviour.

I must confess, the first I knew of any of this was when RV disclosed she was taking it to court; and all I know now is that she lost and was caught out lying, still denies it and plans on writing a book. Reminds me of Amber Heard, she won't learn, and will need to be very careful what she puts in that or any TV programme about it in case she lands herself in serious hot water all over again! Thankyou both for breaking the intricacies of our legal system down. I'm sure a lot of it is nowhere near as simple as you make out- filing my own divorce was taxing enough on paperwork! Cheers both 🦄

Did Vardy's personal assistant have access to Mrs Rooney's private Instagram and social media accounts ?? If not , she could have only recieved these stories from a party that did have access or a hacker . That raises the question , why would a hacker choose Mrs Vardy's personal assistant to release the stories to the newspapers??

Omaze (house prize draw) do a vetting on "potential winners" to see if they have criminal records, or a history that could embarrass the company or benefit charity. Is that lawful? Could you lose the prize if you have the wrong political views, for example be against mass immigration? It is part of their terms and conditions (on their web site)
@Carlosyabrudy2 жыл бұрын
Omaze are a huge scam. If you read terms and conditions, if they have not made more than the house price plus admin and marketing then winner gets cash prize of not much. They make a lot of profit and don’t hand out houses.

"Directing someone else to do something is, in effect, doing it yourself." The very reasoning that Lord Chief Justice Goddard gave for prosecuting Derek Bentley for murder, despite he was actually under police restraint. The judge had described Bentley as "mentally aiding the murder of Sidney Miles".

Thank you Dan and Al. I find all things to do with our judicial system interesting. Having you both breaking things down into bite size chunks and then diving in deeper helps to get better knowledge of how it works. Thank you for what you are doing to give us a better and less scarey understanding of what goes on and what we would need to do if going to court. How is the lovely Floof? Missed not seeing her laying on the floor beside you. She is definitely a Daddy's girl, me thinks. 😃

It will interesting to hear your thoughts on the Alex Jones, "Perry Mason", moment. That moment where, I assume, Alex Jones' lawyers said there were no texts relating to case and then sent the opposing lawyers a bunch of texts relating to the case. Was it a case that they had to or be held liable for misleading the court about discovery/disclosure? Otherwise if it was a mistake could Alex Jones sue his own lawyers?
