Surprised it isn't bricked because it cannot connect to the Blackberry server. Maybe it is because there has been no Blackberry ID assigned to the device.

I have blackberry passport silver edition (Dallas) But unfortunately it cannot be used comfortably because it still uses the original OS.

Two questions what network technology is it connecting to on Vodafone? In the US we no longer have 3G so I’m curious if I would get a connection with 4G on this device also, the blackberry classic has largely the same technology. If I’m not mistaken, would I be correct and assuming I would have a similar experiencewith a classic?

Hi there, so this is using 4G over here, Vodafone has 2,3 and 4G available I think. I couldn’t tell you with the Classic unfortunately, but I would presume it the same as the Passport in terms of connectivity.

@@daryusyo I don’t use Revolut my friend, and I wouldn’t want to use this phone for banking as it’s not had security updates for a very long time! So be aware of that :)

So you have two passports, huh? 🤓 Back when I had a Silver Edition BlackBerry Passport, watching 16:9 videos on it felt a little wasteful of the screen estate on that square screen. Apart from that, and a few Android compatibility issues, that thing was one of my best mobile companions.

Mine was brand new a week ago. Ive used it but now I have the setup problem. It just cant get pass it. So now I cant use it anymore. Ive tried the 3 press on power button hack to activate voice assistant but the voice assistant doesnt work. So im fucked...

How’s the screen sensitivity / latency when swiping through?! Does it feel right or just a tad off?

@@seb.hassen7781 feels perfect to me, just as good as a new phone. The only lag I see is when opening certain apps for example, but I’d say that’s due to the apps rather than the phone itself! I’ll go through everything along with the speed and snappiness of the phone in the full look at the device :)
