@@MrOldWilliam sadly its a fixed case, which makes it impractical imho. I loved the slide to open on the Priv.

The sliding mechanism and the capacitive trackpad build into keyboard both works flawless even today, whole 8 year after the phone was released.

If blackberry would have pushed their OS to get apps during the time apple was doing the same, it would have been apple vs blackberry right now not apple vs android and a lot of us would have been happier for it.

BB OS 10 on Black Berry Passport is good but it lacked any app support whatsoever. This one Blackberry Priv is android 6.0 not BB OS 10.

@@timiYES It's worth or not is your subjective call. I have presented that it's still functioning in 2024 and it's great hardware.

@@timiYESno custom rom available on any bb device running on android since bb does not allow unlocking the bootloader. You just stuck with whatever last version of android that blackberry provided on that device.

Yes the chip was weakest Qualcomm Flagship chip ever produced SD-808 Hexacore. And BB OS was not polished to run on android in first iteration.
