I'm not a good 'ol southern boy or anything like that. In fact I don't live anywhere in your country, and have never even been there. I am just a 64 year old Australian who loves good music. And these guys follow in the footsteps of bands like The Allman Brothers and Lynard Skynard. As we say in my country "shit hot!"(that means kickass). Keep 'em comin' boys!

Was riding round in 1975 listening to Skynyrin my buddy's Vega. 8 track tapes. Had a place u could get a 12 pack of PBR, 10 gallons of gas and a small bag of illegal fireworks for less than $10. Trouble is getting $10. Had to cut 3 acres of grass. Course a 6 pack would get u there back then. Fond memories. I'm 60 now, always thought bout Australia, why did you guys give up ur guns?

Even after all these yrs this song is still my go-to- all nighter theme song !! Such a great portrayal of the all American southerner. So thankful for Charlie's mana Tanila .P and the mommas of the rest of the boys for bringing such talented and beloved souls into this world !!!! P.S. friends a lil fun fact (my personal opinion) ask your friends this - When the higher power creates talented singers of a band who did he create first ????? I always say God created the drummer first ( also my absolute fav opinion) Britt Turnner !!! Course I'm biased- with BBS they all were created at the same time !!! Just love these boyz and their music !!!!!
@kaintudigit15994 жыл бұрын
Very first musician was when a cave man, or woman, made the first vocal note. Then, that was incredible, too. And I don't classify these "boys" as southern rock. (Its called Rock-a-Billy in Texas.) And yes Im biased. These grown boys even rip loose a SR Vaughn type of blues in some songs. SRV started playing bars in Austin-- capitol of the town SRV grew up in. And ol W Nelson is reflected in BBS songs at times. Actually, I strongly think a higher power decided we needed a band (BBS) who is creating a fanstic, new, and fresh genre all alone in its own league. Talent galore. Now, these are simply my opinions. So, with a tip of my Rock-a Billy hat, ma'am, and with full respect of yours, these boys are just natural musician badasses kicking out beautiful music. Can I get an amen? Lol

I only heard of these guys about 2 years ago. I have no idea how it never made it on to my radar. The musicianship is freaking amazing. Twangy and countryish, but they can crank out some jams. Great vocals, amazing stuff. One of the few bands I've heard where literally every track blows your doors off. Not a single dud anywhere. THis is coming from a hardcore thrash/metal fan. They aren't even really in "my genre" and I still crank them all the time.
