This Band gives us hope in the South! We have waited a long time for what is the real Roots too Rock N Roll, Southern Rock. I am 62 years old and I seen The real Lynyrd Skynards last show at Greenville South Carolina on 10/19/1977, and when the news broke about the Plane Crash that was the night that the music Died! Keep on with your plan, because Blackberry Smoke gives us something that has been missing in our South for a long time. To close when it is this good you and the world knows it comes straight out of these remaining Southern States.

Amen to that . I'm from marietta ga and until blackberry smoke came out and kicked in the door the black crowes were about the last good rock&roll band to come out from around here . I was just a kid in the 70's but the Allman's and Skynyrd will always be at the top of the heap but Blackberry smoke is like both rolled together almost and good as it's ever gonna get now. They sure as hell aren't some cover band but they do play all the great southern tunes and better than anyone else by far. I was at this show and been to many other ones . Doesn't get any better to me 🤘

from this one cover, it's plain to see the blackberry smoke is continuing the tradition of southern rock 'n' roll with the driven loud guitar , sound! really soulful original music, the band being very tight didn't drop the handoff from other greats such as , outlaws, Marshall Tucker, Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet, Heartbreakers & Lynyrd Skynyrd just to name a few, they are and have been the authentic article and with a front man such as Charlie Starr, who is extraordinarily well-versed well it's a recipe for success thank you Blackberry Smoke for keeping the tradition alive and killing it doing so!

Charlie's riff during jam with the wah pedal is fucking wicked! What a musical glod nugget this band is when there jammin, Charlie is ceckin in with the fellas and you can see how much fen there havin with it ! The way he brings the tempo down as they just rock & roll Remedy harder than the Crows!!!

Blackberry Smoke has 20 years of original songs... great covers, too, but kudos to Charlie Starr and BBS for brilliance. I really don't think of them as a cover band at all... mostly in Sleeping Dogs for great covers. Never mind.... go see them live and you can die happy. Best fan from France, Lili Kiki. Is there a song they can call their own? That was pretty good for a cover band, but you can't compare that to the black crows, version! Chris Robinson was one of the best vocalist going' round at the time. I don't understand why a decent cover band won't become their own identity! ✌️

I saw Bbs at Gfest in Muskogee their set was cut short they played maybe half an hour Charlie says we got to go a Storm is coming in sure enough in ten minutes the wind came up something fierce it started raining in about another 5 minutes I was robbed of seeing a great show
