Thanks for bringing back Blackbriar to the channel. I love your analysis of the music quite close to mine 😊 I like to depict Blackbriar as a stellar system (from a brighter and bigger galaxy) with Zora and René being the binary stars of it. Bart, Ruben, Robin and Siebe (and Joost who produces their music) are beautiful and magnificent worlds on their own but they have more minor roles in the composition process, they are some kind of beautiful giant planets orbiting around Zora and René. They add creativity for sure, but basically Zora has a great idea touching her and she writes beautiful lyrics about it, then she sings the main vocal melody. And here comes René, who's contribution to Blackbriar is less visible, but he's the genius behind most part of every instruments! He's really good at catching what Zora wants to express and turning it into... well... A whole song. Then everyone is recording and bringing its own personality and creativity to an already quite finished song. That's not the common way to build song but that's absolutely one of the key to their originality (a Blackbriar song doesn't sound like the main current of influence in the metal industry) and to my goosebumps! I'd recommend you to react to My Soul's Demise, Cicada, We Make Mist, The Evergreen and Weeping Tree, Deadly Diminuendo, Lilith Be Gone and I'd Rather Burn. Those ones are... just beyond awesomeness! Oh, and also... You mentioned how much you like when Zora switches from high notes to lower notes and back to high notes. I also love it very much, but I'd like to add that I had the great chance to hear it live, and Zora does that effortlessly and absolutely fluently and consistently. Sorry for the lengthy comment, but still something to add 😊 : their third brand new full-length album is on its way... It only lacks the vocals (Zora will start recording them tomorrow, actually 😁)!! PS: Sorry if my English is not good. I just wrote it straightforward without the kind help of Deepl, lol 🤣

As for your last question, unfortunately they don't have any official live performances. Actually, they have one but it's a bit old and not quite reflecting what they are. It's great because they had an orchestra live with them... But as I said, I personally think this live is not honouring nor representative of what they do live. Apart from that, there's only one pro recording stuff of one of their gig. But it's way too old and absolutely not representative. I hope one day they will headline a massive festival and have giant screens behind them and million people in front of them 😅😅😅 and then, we'd have excellent live performances from them 🎉
