Truth is that in real life, no relationship is perfect and if Gossip Girl was realistic about something, it's that. All the relationships in the show were messy just as most relationships IRL are. Blair loved Chuck and that's what made their relationship strong, the love was so powerful that it helped them go through thick and thin. Most people think the relationship was toxic and he that abused her somewhat but that's wrong in my eyes, he was going through is own struggles and she also played him several times, they were both growing as characters. And when they got mature enough, they got together for good.

@isa Did I say healthy ? I said the opposite which is that in real life no relationship is perfect AND that's why the show represents real relationships well. Also in the beginning of the show they were both really manipulative not only with each other but they tried to fuck up other people's lives which is why I said they were growing as characters. Aside from that, he didn't actually manipulate her to do it, he knew she was going to because she loved him and that is an asshole move for him to just assume that and to let it happen but she shouldn't have done it, I was shocked that he let that happen but I was also shocked that she did it when I was watching. It's complicated.
