I really like Vektor, Skeletonwitch, and early Sodom albums. Svartsyn is a super underrated one. Check them out if you haven’t. Deströyer 666 is pretty cool too. I don’t know if early venom stuff counts but that’s cool too. But my absolute favorite has to be Goatwhore. The could be death or black or thrash, but I absolutely love them. Their new album is amazing

Early venom definitely counts, some people consider them first wave BM, but that's just a style of thrash that influenced what we consider BM today. Early Venom is really great.

This is probably my favourite metal sub-genre with just so many great bands. My favourites are absolutely Witchery and Vektor, and then Bewitcher, Demiser, Hellripper, Skeletonwitch, Urn and Midnight.

Ahhh Blackened thrash. Perhaps my favorite metal sub-genre. Some great choices here but I would also recommend; Desaster, Bewitcher, Witchery, Urn, Witchtrap, Evil Angel, Nocturnal Graves, Ravencult, BlackRat, Hades Archer, Wraith and Hellripper.

Thank you for including Skeletonwitch! I watched a certain blackened thrash metal history show, and they were hesitant to include them on their list of bands. Ended up not even including them! Have you heard of Black Fast, Unholy Night, Nightprowler, and Black Flame?

Absu is definitely my favorite out of the bunch. Love how weird they are haha. Inquisition, Desaster, and Aura Noir are total bangers as well.

I got into Impaled Nazarene pretty late, something about the vocals/style I wasn’t into initially. However, I warmed up to them a bit after listening to Urga Karma. Great stuff

Vektor is my favourite active band and Terminal Redux is the best album ever made imo, going to see them in a couple of weeks for the first time 🤘. Also Blood Fire Death by Bathory is a great blackened thrash album!

Goatwhore are my favourite followed by Inquisition. I've never listened to Vektor so guess I can add that to my watch later list, thanks to finding your channel my list is now at 120 albums and counting

Vektor is fucking awesome, their latest split is pretty mediocre though. Definitely check out their first 3 full lengths, especially the 2nd and 3rd.

Just discovered Goatwhore a couple days ago... Fucking excellent stuff! Alchemy Of The Black Sun Cult made me immensely grab my guitar. Been a huge fan of Skeletonwitch since Devouring Radiant Light. I'd love to see a proper ranking for both bands!

i completely agreed with most of this vid! skeletonwitch is just awsome. i know this is very off topic but have you ever heard or revenge? they are one of my favorite metal bands and mix fast agressive animalistic sections with so gutteral and menacing sections in their songs like with their song wolf slave protocol, u probably know them but if not i think u might like it!

Impaled Nazarene - First three albums are fantastic BM Alltime Masterpieces. „Tol cormpt“ instigates the War Metal scene. Don‘t forget about it. Later albums are somehow weak, the vocals and the riffs not so good as before. Desaster and Absu - These are my favorite blackened thrash bands. Flawless discography both.
