You introduced me to Opeth, Agalloch and probably a lot more bands, i'll try to return the favour, you should listen to mortuary drape (if you don't know them): every album they made is great, but my favorite is the debut album "All the witches dance" probably one of the most evil black metal albums of all time.

In music, you are the essential one for me. You not only got me into bands, but you got me into few important genres like Black Metal, Death Metal, Thrash Metal which are now even my favorite genres. I used to be a hardcore kid (Metalcore, Deathcore, NU Metal stuffs) since 2014, and then you got me into Death Metal, Thrash Metal, Black Metal stuffs since 2022. Questy thankyou so much - I loved only one of these bands (Sigh of course!!) before this video. 3 hours later and I'm thinking.....how the f! Did I not hear The Mantle by Agalloch before. It's simply STUNNING!!! I now have to have every album by them. And your faves Drudkh I will also dive into. Stuff it....besides Townsend and Paradise Lost (not been that inspired by them over the years tbh though I mildly enjoy at least two records by Devin) oh and the enjoyable but not yet in love with after several listens Paysage- I'm diving into all the others...every single band. There are many bands i have added to my playlist due to your recommendations. One band I got into is Marduk. I had heard of Marduk before, but never paid attention. Panzer Division Marduk is now one of my favorite black metal albums.

I actually got into more extreme metal genres by listening to all 100 albums from one of your videos, and discovered a lot of awesome bands that I wouldn't ever find by myself. 2019-2020 I really started to listen to new stuff I never got into before and new genres. Some of my faves from then: Korn, Nightwish, Eluveitie, Darkthone, Enslaved, Bolt Thrower, Brujeria and somehow I hadnt listened to Celtic Frost. Love your channel btw!
