I've been using there gear for a while now, the wet ice over fire sealant and wax is epic on dark coloured cars . And the detail spray is one of the best on the market

I've been a wolfgang fan for years. Their deep gloss paint sealant is my go to sealant. I'm using their detail spritz on my Camaro lately good stuff. I will look at BF once I burn through this bottle. Thanks for checking out the video and the info on what you're using!!

Most products will do a great job on your car . It's just finding the one that you like working with and makes your particular car paint look how you want it . Good video though doing a quick one and getting great results

very nice. what about using it with hand pads? and how often can you use the BF 1-step? 1/6 mo, 1/yr, monthly? Have a Soul Red Mazda CX-5 that could benefit from a 1-step, but I don't have a polisher. I do like the BF glass gel cleaner; stuff stays put and doesn't run

Yes, like any polish or compound it can be used by hand. The 'correction' results will not be as good but the finish will be better. Since newer vehicles have less and less paint material, I would use it once a year or every 18 months. I am not sure how long the protection lasts but I would be surprised if it was more than 3-6 months. If you use a drying aid/spray sealant with every wash, you could extend the protection.

Looks great. Can You apply wax on top of it to help with durability ?

I have not tried but I do not see why not. I have topped it with CarPro Reload. Seems to bond just fine. No streaking

Did you move faster than with a normal polish, or did you stick to normal arm speeds & same number of passes as with a traditional polish?
@GavDetails5 жыл бұрын
3-4 section passes. Left to right, up and down, left to right. And maybe slightly faster arm speed. Since there are some abrasives, you want to allow them to work/break down.

Good video. I have used this product and had great luck with it. Amazing shine. If you were to use the cutting pad on the whole car, would you make a second pass with the polishing pad?
@GavDetails5 жыл бұрын
It depends on if the paint is hard or soft...or how it reacts to the cutting pad. I used one on the truck and there was slight haze. So I went over the entire trunk with the polishing pad afterwards. Some cars may not require the 2nd step.

How much does it cost estimated for the same job you did with the same black car?
@GavDetails6 жыл бұрын
I normally like to see the vehicle first, it's a good prerequisite to have so that you don't over or under sell yourself. This is a hobby for me, not my main source of income. I don't have shop overhead etc, so all things considered around $300-$400.

How does this compare to 3D HD Speed?
@GavDetails Жыл бұрын
I have not used HD speed. Apex detail may have made a video, he likes the 3D products. Online reviews of HD speed are 4.5 and higher out of 5 stars.

@GavDetails thanks for the reply. Yes I've been using 3D speed and 3D 505 correction Glaze for a while and they both give great results in really quick time expecially when paired with the forced rotation Flex machine. I do a lot of one steps for car dealers here in the UK and need to reorder some more 3D Speed but I'm tempted to give the Blackfire a try for a change. I don't think Apex has ever done a video of the Blackfire.
@GavDetails Жыл бұрын
@@johnmelling9950 in my experience, stick to what works for you. I have tried some polishing products and always find myself going back to Menzerna. The blackfire is easy to work with, leaves a glossy finish and is easy to wipe off. The only other thing to factor in is cost/ size availability. I have used Rupes uno protect, it was able to correct a fair amount with a Rupes yellow wool pad.
@johnmelling9950 Жыл бұрын
@GavDetails thanks mate. I've used UNO Protect, but I prefer the 3D Speed. You're right. I'll stick to what works for me and reorder the Speed it's just that sometimes you fancy a change and it's not always for the best.
