Hey dude Just one thing, Black Flame's protection is a BODY buff, while golden vow is an AURA buff, thought I'd correct you on that. With that being said, I'm already loving this series, as I'm in ng+2 on elden ring and stuff isn't getting any easier, so I appreciate the light you're shedding light to and helping ng+ and beyond players, Keep it up! (Btw from one artist to another, I LOVE the thumbnail, 10/10)

Something worth noting about Noble's Presence is also that it's boosted by wearing the Noble's robe by 20%, which makes it damage-wise very close to the damage of the other incantations... and is NOT affected by godslayer's seal buff, so using Erdtree Seal, after it becomes better than Godslayer Seal in scaling, is also recommended. At high dexterity, it casts really fast when uncharged. Additionally, it can be very effective to launch enemies into the air and possibly stun lock them (it even works with some bosses, such as Malenia). You can use a weapon with Endure on to be able to cast it without interruptions.

At what level does the erdtree seal become better than the godslayer one for the black flame incantations?

@@MC-kh8qi Seventy something, 80 is best. The difference gets shorter as you get closer to 99. This only applies to Noble Presence though. The rest will work better with the GS seal.

I made a black flame build similar to this one earlier this week after finally getting the godslayer greatsword. I personally had went with Dane’s hat, white reed armor, chain gauntlets, and greaves of solitude because of the black (greaves of solitude) and white (white reed armor) going well with the black flame. Along with the white reeds armor going well with Dane’s Hat for a samurai/monk type look

an armor combo i like for blackflame is the blackflame torso (of course) plus the skeletal mask, with any matching gauntlets or greaves

Hey! Im a huge fan of the black flame blade spell, i was wondering if queeligns greatsword would be a good option? Its buffable, has innate fire damage and faith scaling and works well one handed with keen infusion would flame skewer pair well?

Since the DLC, I’m mixing up on the fly (without rebirthing) with the same stat distribution as this at level 200. It’s amazing how much you can build with high faith and Dex, some Strength/mind and 60 Vigor. It’s easy to mix incantations, weapons and skills depending on what bosses are weak to and the high dex helps casting speed too. It also helps to keep things fresh.

GSGS was my favorite weapon until DLC. Now the FKGS with Flame Spear and Flame Skewer is at the top. But I like Black Flame incantations anyway. 😀

Its pretty close to the Blackflame Maiden build I have But I also use the Black Knife in the offhand or swap, as well as Maliketh's spell (THEY STACK), and are also percentage HP Faith based I use a different armor set, swap to blackflame monk set for heavier poise instead of light roll But also a godskin rapier with repeating thrust with cold infusion, easy application and your other stuff resets it to proc again And my other utility weapons I've built up over time that I use on most every build Prayerful Strike Great Stars Already using Godskin twinblade

So about Noble presence... Did you know... That you can fully charge it after parrying Malenia, and it'll send her flying into the air for an extra chance to deal some damage when she gets up.

Great video and build. There is an important detail i'd like to mention: The DLC bosses have resistances to the DoT (Damage over Time a.k.a HP burn effect of the blackflame, destined death etc). It reduces the effect by 50 to 65%, which is a fixed value across any NG+. All this to say, it is still good an reliable, but avoid depending exclusively on the DoT when fighting DLC bosses xD don't forget to have your fun!

Great build! Looks fun and flashy! I think I missed this part - what's the Milady infused with? Flame Art for Faith scaling? And also, you have the Erdtree Seal on left hand and the Godslayer Seal on right for the buff or is it also on left hand? Thank you!

I am using a keen infusion for the milady but quality is better if you have the extra points slotted in strength. It does not matter what hand holds what seal just make sure to cast with the erdtree seal while your other hand holds the godslayer seal. This way you are getting the incant scaling from the erdtree seal but still get the buff because you are holding the godslayer seal.

What level is ur ng7 build? For me I feel like 200-250 is prob the best levels for ng7+ just because you wanna be able to have "enough" vigor, mind, and stamina yet also have the soft caps for whichever build ur going for.

Curious about this too. I've nust gone into ng2 with lv 150 and want to stay on that level for as many ng as possible, but after seeing this video I thought it might not be as viable

@@josearturocastrejonespinos7933 150 is fine prob ng thru maybe ng5. I think when I started to notice that enemies are hitting way harder is maybe ng6 and forsure ng7. The only reason I would level up higher at those ng runs is because you wanna have enough vigor, mind, and endurance while still having ur soft caps met for your build.
