Instead of rapping about money and fame. Rapping about life principles and motivation with alot of inspirational lyrics proves that rapping could be so much better than other type of musics. Huge respect love lyrics

Coming up as a child I’ve heard this song a few times. I knew I liked the instrumental and Faith’s voice, but I really didn’t pay attention to Twista’s words. I finally looked up the lyrics to this song and I must say this is an awesome song. This is the realest song I’ve ever heard. I felt every word. We need more music like this instead of everything being about violence these days. Thanks Twista and Faith! ❤

I remember when I first heard this through MTV Hits. I was 11 years old, I was just starting Middle School and my Mom just had my baby sister. This song really spoke to me. It made me want to be that hope for everyone. Of course, it's been getting harder to keep that hope alive and I'm starting to think it was all for nothing with how much the world continues to try me. As they say, the one who smiles the most during the worst of times is usually the one who hurts the most.

listening to this song reminds me of my dad lost him last year to stage four pancreatic cancer and he always used to say along with my grandma who I lost two years ago "just give it to God the Lord Jesus Christ will guide you and take your burdens" and I've replayed this song twenty times in a row just so I can hear my dad say those words this song hits me and people like it because of BAM and that Twista brings God into it or just because of Twista then there are the few unlucky and lucky that can feel and understand the meaning on levels that are literal and somewhat different but what really hit me was the part where he said I hope my family never sees six feet and though my dad was cremated my grandma and some other family members are buried so it's a song of many things for me

Coach carter is such a good movie! If you really listen to the words you can picture story behind this amazing piece of art. This song is truly inspiring. If you pieces of shit will grow up and learn a lesson and listen to this song maybe one day you will be considered good in everyone's eyes. Everyone on here that likes to talk shit behind a phone or computer are just trapped in the closet and are afraid to express themselves in the way they want so they draw attention by bulling and saying hurtful things, so everyone that's bullied just know that there are good people out there who care and we aren't all bad people. Just some selfish douch bags out there ruin so many good peoples lives. So go ahead and comment it up on here and say stupid shit, your only proving my point to everyone.
