I would love to see you use Wild Country aftershave. It brings back memories to me. My mom was an Avon salesperson when I was a kid so dad would use that often. I also have lots of the old glass Avon cologne decor pieces. The gun, the bullet etc.

I just finished watching the Netflix series from Norway, entitled Ragnarok. That was a fun series. Very well done. Sort of a modern redux of Thor and Loki set in a contemporary small Norwegian town. I haven't taken any inoculations in years. I do keep an echinacea tincture on hand, and elderberries from which to make syrup at the first sign of cold or flu, and do supplement with D3 and K2 starting around this time of year, through about mid April. These measures along with dietary and lifestyle changes have made me pretty resilient.

Got a sample of Cat O' Nine Tails, and man did it burn! Sadly, the smell wasn't really appealing to me so I finished the sample and moved on. Maybe if they come out with other scents I'd give it another shot, see if I'm willing to take the burn for a good aftershave smell.

Nice setup and shave and as always good burn reaction! Sad to hear the Halloween kills movie didn't meet expectations as I still may see it. Question on the captains choice stuff - what is the difference between their soap and cream performance wise and it seems u prefer the soap? Ken, I’ve always had trouble shaving against the grain on my neck during my second shave. Any tips to help with the irritation?

Ride the bar. Position the razor on the skin so that only the bar is touching. Adjust the angle until the blade makes the faintest contact possible, and maintain that while you shave. Try to reduce your beard as much as possible before going against the grain. I do two passes with the grain, no across the grain passes, and one against. I build the lather in a bowl, as to avoid scrubbing my skin with the brush.
