You mentioned using on a gimbal. Which one do you use? I have the 6k and have had a hard time finding a fit.

I still dont know if i should go for a ursa mini 4.6 (not the pro) or the Blackmagic Procket 4K (Dont know if i can affor the 6K). Im a film student and im shooting lots of fashion film, video clips and short films. Really want to get a camera to keep on shooting and get more clients (camera prices in Argentina ar crazy expensive), my degree thesis and maybe future films. What would you say? All my lenses are Nikon G (cant spend on new lenses). Battery of the BMP its a boomer and that sensor size creeps the crop out of me and scares me the noise on darker frames. -algo gimbal is a must- Ursa feels more reliable, but the ISO is kind of boomer, is way expensive and Cfast kills my wallet. -also is more impacting for a client to see the size of this camera-

That's a tough one. Personally I would go with the pocket 4k

I am also wondering if I should get the old ursa mini 6k over the pocket 4k or 6k.. honestly the better dynamic range and the better highlight roll off in ursa mini make me prefer it over the pocket.. alosa the ursa mini has the fairchild sensor which produces a way more organic image

If you are looking to stay budget friendly go with the pocket. Not just the camera but any slider gimbal tripod or any accessory is always cheeper for lighter cameras

I actually prefer the 4k over the 6k. Check the last few videos I uploaded high end commercial work on the 4k. I just had an Ursa g2 delivered as I have been doing a lot more studio work lately. I can’t wait to see what comes next from BM.
