Iraq is the cradle of civilisation ❤ were writing started ; were complex cities rose from ..i wish i could visit..im from uk .british muslim background ..i love history so i remember as a kid being fascinated by iraq and feeling a sense of connection and awe though i have no ancestry or connection to iraq. Hope to visit one day inshallah..since i was young i always fascinated by your motherland . It is where the Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian, and Assyrian empires thrived, contributing to the development of writing, agriculture, and urbanization. If i were you i would be so friggin proud to be from a land that is so ancient and gave the world so many tools and crafts and knowledge. In comparison to iraq even egyptian pyramids is a baby

Ive always wanted to visit Iraq. Dubai is beautiful but tall skyscrapers arent always necessary for a beautiful place. To be honest i prefer small ethnic architecture over modern glass tall buildings. This is why I'd rather visit a place like Baghdad, Damascus, Sanaa. One of my favorite cities in the world, which is outside the Arab world is Skopje Macedonia. They have no highrises practically and all their buildings are short and done in their ethnic heritage, all ancient greek style. So many brand new statues and neo ancient architecture there. This is also why my favorite US place is Washington DC. The weather in Iraq wouldn't bother me one bit either. I visited Phoenix AZ in July, was 115 and sunny. Didn't bother me one bit. Iraq is a must see for me. I hope to go soon. Brand new sub here and thank you for all that you give us.

Yeah, I just saw it. I literally paused the video to come to the comment section to see if anyone else saw it. I get that he may have been slightly annoying, but that face seems like it came from another place. The irony of him coming to show the world that Iraq is not racist, and she (by the look on her face) seemingly scoffed at him because of his race smdh.

Iraq is a religious, archaeological, and historical tourist country because it is a country with many ancient and Islamic civilizations. It may be the country with the most civilizations and has been exposed to occupations because of its location, nature, and resources, but in terms of supporting tourism, there is no strong support for tourism in Iraq. It is not like the 1980s. There was strong support for tourism, hotels, etc., but after the occupation. All the American infrastructure was destroyed, especially Baghdad, because it was exposed to the American bombing, except for the explosions. But today, Iraq is in a stage of economic growth and towards stability, especially after the elimination of ISIS.
@عليالعراقي-ي6ن5ت6 ай бұрын
How is it not a tourist country? In Iraq, there are marshes in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the civilization of Babylon, Sumer, the civilization of Ur, religious shrines, and in the center there are traces of the Abbasid Islamic civilization, as well as religious shrines and heritage places, the Assyrian and Akkadian civilization, and in the north there are also many castles, mountains, stunning nature, snow, the Kurdish heritage, and religious minorities such as the Yazidis. Likewise, the Sabians in Iraq, except for the many languages in Iraq, including Arabic, Kurdish, Syriac, Assyrian, Turkmen, and others. Iraq is a country of many civilizations, nationalities, and religions, so of course it is a country worth visiting
