Battlefield 1 Combat Medic

According to quite a few comments on the Mondragon video the Medic class is only meant to be a "support" class. I find it odd that people would suggest that considering that hasn't been the case for the "medic" class in all the previous Battlefield titles. You can certainly play it that way but why limit yourself.
I mainly use the Mondragon and Selbstlader M1916 while playing the Medic class because the other weapon models for the Medic class look terrible to me, like they are toys or fake weapons. That is a personal preference thing so don't think that these are the only two weapons that are viable. However that does leave me wondering what is and isn't useful as far as Medic gameplay to share on this channel.
I'm somewhat confused by DICE's desire to make maps like Argonne Forest where the complex grass and dirt textures added to the color filters makes the H.264 codec cry when encoding for Twitch or KZbin. It can't handle it and everything is made worse with some of the weather effects.

I actually revive and heal if people need it. Sometimes I even die just to revive them.

Gotta love the Mondragon. Only thing to remember is reloading at 5 shot intervals.

If you reload when the magazine is at 5 bullets remaining or 0 bullets, you'll reload at 5 bullets at a time. But lets say you have 6 rounds left, and you reload. You'll reload 4 bullets individually in the gun at a time. And you can reload 5 bullets (If there is space) at the same speed as a single bullet if you don't have room for a full 5.

I much prefer the mondragon storm to the selbstlader. You have an advantage at close quarters, and its just al around a better weapon. Yes, the higher ammo count in the latter mentioned gun can come in handy, but if you are smart with your reloads its not that big of a deal

I still believe the combat medic is still just as powerful as how it was before in previous battlefields, probably not as much but it's still up there. The ability to heal one self after combat is invaluable and some of the other gadgets the medic has isn't too bad either.

I actually like the M1907 SL Sweeper. The looks and the sound is pretty neat and the gameplay of it is actually decent compared to the others. I like to use that as my main "Combat Medic" rifle.

I hope they move all scoped rifles to Scout and all ironsight bolt action rifles to Medic. Simply i see more medic snipers than scout snipers. And on a combat between Medic Sniper vs Scout infantry(ironsight) the medic has too much advantage. For me there are too many scopes in BF1 and imo it ruins both immersion and balance.

No doubt Ravic is a very skilled and capable player,but the problem with these clips is that usually they are a montage of best moments/kill streaks/lucky incidents which are not the real footage of whats happening.Also you have to note that he is playing with a premade squad vs average random players and at the last part of the video from C flag to F they move as a herd demolishing every enemy they encounter.Not so spectacular.Anyway thats my 2 cents.Flame on.
