Your tips are very much appreciated. I'm an old dude, but I don't know it all & learn much from you, to pass on to my 3 grandsons. Thank you kindly.

Very good information Blackie. The thing about crossing the stakes to keep the wind from pulling them out makes since. That is something that has been a problem for me on occasions. I wish I had thought of that years ago. I really enjoy your videos and watch every one I can. From the way you talk I know we grew up in a close time period. There are a few things I have been curious about. I believe you spent some time in the ARMY. I've been wondering what years you was in. I'm also wondering at what age we become a silver wolf and how old is Blackie. Just curious young man. 😂 Take care and be safe.

What do you use for flying bug control with a plow point? Hammocks have a bug net and they are under a tarp. Bruce from the city of Orange in Orange county Calif.

how do you set a tarp up with a full size cot like you have said you have done?

I know this is an older video, but have a question or two. You mentioned using this for summer use, for summer I use hammock or tent for bugs and snakes. Is there a worry with the sides up that it would encourage a snake to crawl in for coverage during the day or as evening is coming on? Good Video!!

actually our pit vipers of the south become active at night or more correct just after sun down..the pits allow them to see in a heat vision for a time right after sunset..thus they active hunt for small rodents ect..but after a short time the heat vision does not work so well as the dropping temps make everything look alike..thats when the snakes... which by the way dont have good night vision.. find someplace to hide since many things that are active at night think snake taste good..so in my 40yrs of exp..i have never had a snake come into a tent..of any kind...with the exception of when it was flooding and they were simp[ly trying to get out of the wet..hope this helps ya..safe journeys
