I played this. I enjoyed it. Yes it didn't have a campaign mode, which was sad but this game had 800 cars and 35 tracks. That, for a psp is INSANE

I had this game... bought almost every car. And with the simulation physics selected it felt decently realistic. Understeer, oversteer, snap-oversteer (NSX I'm looking at you), different drivetrains and weights and so. The best driving simulator on the PSP for sure. I'm emulating it on my phone because it's still better than the crappy mobile racing games which all feel awful. Except for Grid Autosport of course.

GT PSP was one of the best. It allowed you to connect with GT Prologue and move your cars from one game to the other. Plus having it on the go was amazing.

This is probably the GT I played the most, 3 of us used to play ad oc mode or whatever it was called, it was so fun. Its also where I began Drifting, legend of a game. This and Midnight Club 3 were my go to PSP racing games.
