The trick to the quantum telescope is that it's sorta Venn diagram-ing the actual location of the thing. You can get some neat special asteroids from it, like a whole asteroid of a specific ore (including the rare ones).

The last mining vid I saw was on a server where the mining bay was faaaar away from the bulk of the station. This seems like a much less safe design, but that seems fitting for SS13. Nothing is supposed to work right without 20X the effort.

So Tex, thanks to you rekindling my desire to play BattleTech and Mechwarrior games I decided to get my hands on one of the classics: Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries which was "obtained by thoroughly legal means" (it's a CD-Rom from the 2000s purchased in Croatia which did not have, sell, or import Mechwarrior 2 - you can guess what that means). Getting that relic to run on windows 10 is adventure in itself but this is all a digression of the main point because from the very first mission I made a very amusing discovery. Sergeant Unther of the Hansen's Roughriders sounds EXACTLY like you, and furthermore his demeanor and speech pattern is also very close to yours. Have you been doing some voice acting in the 90s or is your life closely mimicking that of Sergeant Unther? :P
