I loved their Coachella performance. Despite the shit they've been getting for the last year, I really loved it. There is so much more pressure people put on Kpop idols they'd never put on other artists. I like seeing them so relaxed and actually having fun. i can understand why their backtrack was louder than it was in 2019. their set is longer, and they’re doing more. you can tell when they’re singing during parts that don’t require too much movement and they’re committing. as for rosé’s solo, there in fact was an overhead camera for that part but it malfunctioned.

i feel it has more to do with the mics than anything else tho. You see a massive difference in the sound quality once they switched from those "free-hands" mics(idk the technical name for them) to the normal ones. Even the members themselves, you see them a lot of times having to adjust the mics and the sound of their voice coming and going, which didnt happen when they switched mics, which is when we started to hear their live voices even better. And this is something i noticed with quite a few idols.

Jisoo is not the favorite of that cameraman but i've seen tons of fancams, and dang, Jisoo's presence is insane. her presence since hylt era was really blooming and getting closer to JL&R. Her vocals are so stable too. AND THE WAY SHE DANCED?? IT WAS INSANE! (check typa girl, pink venom, pretty savage, those are my fav Coachella perf of Jisoo) i love it so much. Don't know if anybody noticed but Jenny was getting hit hard by the pace and length of the show and the heat / venue conditions. You could every now and then see the distress in her face and a few times I was actually worried she might crash, but she kept going like a trooper. Honestly I thought they all did a great job and it was my favorite performance out of this years coachella.

u guys r really silly. The music isn't just remixes and shakes, why should they just do loud stuff? Nobody does that. Everyone has a variety of songs. Rosé and Jisoo vocals, and what they have to do is sing. Jennie did a remix, and she was lip syncing the whole solo stage. And Lisa wasn't even a remix, it was a break dance. All she was doing was singing 3-4 sentences, and then she gave the mic to the dancers. Stop, they're doing what they like.

Considering a very hectic schedule because of their ongoing tour they did really pretty well. I keep watching their fan-cam concerts on KZbin and Tiktok and even I feel very high energy every time. They have insane stage presence in general. And I think as long as they enjoy what they do, continue to improve and stay grounded they'll be unstoppable. I'm so happy and grateful for them. More success to the girls! Also, I've heard somewhere that they'd set up an overhead camera for Rose's performance but it malfunctioned hence no overhead shot.

Not sure if anyone updated, there was a camera above Rosè for her on the Ground performance but it malfunctioned before they started their concert. Agree on Pretty Savage chair performance. Should have done on a elated platform for better visual.. Agree that smoke was hurting my eyes “visually”… To add, the cameramen need to get their act together. The fancam had captured better coverage than them ! As for the rest, I LOVE, EAT BREATHE & LIVE for it. Let hope there’s improvements for next performance.. BLACKPINK RULES 🖤💘

The things that should improve on week 2 are the technical ones. 1. Sound system. I've watched a couple of sets from other artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Willow Smith and Bad Bunny and they all had technical problems. Coachella need to get their act right. In Lovesick Girls Rosè had problems with the background music and their backtrack is so loud the girls needed to shout for their live vocals to be heard, this is where I must recognize Rosè and Jisoo coz even with the loud backtrack you can hear their live vocals 2. Lighting. In Lisa's solo stage, you'll have trouble seeing her beginning dance break because of the lighting design. 3. Visuals. It's hard to see some performance because of the background LED visual. 4. ELEVATED PRETTY SAVAGE chair performance. The girls did great but Rosè and Lisa stood out for me the most.

I was so fucking shocked after the performance. I love them and I was expecting it to be amazing, but they blew away all of my expectations, those hour and 20 minutes went by so quick. Kick it is such a banger, so I was happily surprised they performed it. Jisoo is very stable in her singing, so stable you may have not realized she was singing most of the time. The backtrack was definitely loud. Shading her was so undeserved. Blackpink was amazing! Loved every single adjustment they made to spice up their performance. Pretty Savage and Typa Girl definitely were the highlights, but I particularly enjoyed Tally. The chill and sweet introduction of their band transitioning into their laid back but emotional performance really stole my heart. I loved Rosé and Jennie’s interactions with the crowd. They really know how to make a show. And Lisa never fails to hype up the performance😊❤

Jennie's stage presence set the tone from the start. Her burst of fierceness here and there amplified the performance. Lisa exuded a positive energized aura throughout and Rose's vocal was simply an awesome compliment. Jisoo doesn't stand out because she's never been asked to. She's like the elder sister who's more than happy to allow her younger siblings get all the accolade. And that's why she's the most loved by OT4's. I really love those girls and they truly showed everyone why they are the biggest girl group out there. I also want to point out Jisoo cause that woman was slaying. I still have her part in lovesick girls on repeat because she really came through. She was shining and i was so happy to see her fully enjoy everything considering that she was very sick back in 2019. All the girls did so well even with the little amount of practicing they had since they are still on a world tour.
