there's no center or leader in blackpink, however Jennie was originally supposed to be the leader during trainee days (for pinkpunk), but they agreed that they have too close of a bond and have such a great balance between each other, that they shouldn't have a leader. she said they were the only ones during trainee days where they didn't have a problem with someone wanting some more shine than other's or, arguments about certain parts they wanted. they are a great team for each other and they all have something to provide and teach in the group

I feel like in the beginning they tried to really push Jeannie as lead but overtime the girls have really come to command their own space where it’s so beautiful equal. No one necessarily shines over the other, but they shine individually which makes them shine together. I love it

I love them all. Blackpink will not be blackpink without each one of them. They all add flavors to the group. When they do their individual things, they for sure stand out but Lisa is everything for me. No hate. Charisma, swag, talent singing, dancing, rapping and appeal. Just cannot take eyes off her when she is on stage even she is with all the dancers. She swallows my attention always coz of stage presence. Even she is at the back, she still shines.
