I totally agree with you. With so many kpop girl groups their voices are so high and it's just not my thing. I also don't like it when I can't differentiate between voices but with Blackpink it's so easy to tell who is singing/rapping.

I used to think like you that their songs and vocals were simple but when I watched the idol competition in South Korea, It made me discover that Blackpink's songs weren't easy when it came to singing covers🤣🤣🤣But I still respect your opinion.

Yay, you're back with my girls! 👏 The songs on this album actually tell a story - from the confident single woman, to being in love, to worry and doubt, then the break up at the end I love Forever Young, it's so fun and the choreo is great, you'll enjoy it! But yeah, See U Later - I knew you'd like their sassy savage songs! 😄🥰 Because Blackpink has the same producer, their songs do have a certain vibe and similarity to them, which gives us familiarity and something of a "signature" sound. This was fun Anitra, looking forward to the next album listen! 💗

I really love Rosé vocal tone. Its very unique and has very indie, country or rock vibe to it. She has similar tone to Avril Lavigne. And I usually love vocalist who has thick and full voice with lots of vocal resonance such Taeyeon from SNSD, Yuju from Gfriend, Solar from Mamamoo, Ailee and many more.

Fun fact/theory: Forever Young was recorded all the way back to 2015 which was a year before their debut and some were speculating that it was initially going to be their supposed debut song :D

That’s actually true…. The line “Blackpink is the revolution” was initially planned to be their catchphrase, and that would have made sense if the line was included in their debut song. As we all know by now, “Blackpink in your area” would eventually become their catchphrase which is why we won’t hear the line “Blackpink is the revolution” in any other song apart from “Forever Young” 😅

BLACKPINK does not have a bad song, their b-sides are so good that they are better than many main songs of any average group, that's why BLACKPINK with only 30 songs and 5 years of musical career is already the biggest girl group not only on the planet yes Not in the whole story, their productions are far above other girl groups in production and musical quality.

With what you said I totally agree that Jisoo doesn’t get talk about the most compared to the other girls . Jisoo vocals are beautiful, husky , deep & very mature for sure . I think goes well with her image bc she the oldest , calm, sometimes quiet but she’s very smart and mature young women. Jennie is just so powerful , charismatic, chic & badass . Which think is why people think she’s is cold bc of the image YG entertainment puts on her but actually she’s totally cute and sweetheart. With her being the more chic, charismatic, badass rapper and having more powerful singing in why. they push on her that image in Blackpink / also photoshoots they make her do. And Jennie more of the it girl when comes to fashion which why everyone follows her fashions Rosè actually has a very deep vocalist and speaking voice especially during her pre debut day and she was a more of her tomboy then. Her deeper voice is on predebut song with G-dragon called without you! But I think YG entertainment pushed rosé to sing in more cute and higher pitch vocals in Blackpink . And they gave her the more cutesy image in Blackpink. But I love rosè vocals when she sings with Jisoo it really compliments well together. Lisa is got very sweet, cute vocals but she so fierce when raps which love difference between her rapping and singing vocals . Which I think that’s fits her image especially there outfit for the stages and comeback stages she always has this fierce but more in moment type of fashion . I love all the songs on the album! See u later is my favorite song of albums as well.
