Thanks for asking Anthony. My favorite songs are 1) The Happiest Girl, 2) Type A Girl, 3) Tally, 4)Shutdown, 5)Yeah Yeah Yeah, 6)Pink Venom, 7) Hard to Love, 8) Ready For Love. I love and hate the fact that there are only 8 songs. I LOVE that there are really no filler tracks to skip on this album, but I am GREEDY and I wanted more because of the fact that we had to suffer for 2 years without any new content from BLACKPINK. I actually play Tally more often than Shut Down and Pink Venom lol. It's a very feel good, liberating typa song that I relate to so much. I think the song is about not giving a fuck about what society thinks of you and expects from you. It may be about sexual freedom if I'm being honest. Like the word "tally" may be referring to body count, right? As if they're saying no one's keeping count, I'm gonna date whoever and how many ever I want. My favorite song on the album has to be Typa Girl. I loved it from the very first beat. Lisa really stole that song for me but they all did a great job. Second fav would be Pink Venom cuz that instrumental is just insane.

I love this song, and the whole album. These are grown ass women. And I think some people forget that these girls could walk away from BlackPink right now and still have full careers doing a multitude of things. It’s probably much harder as a 25-27 year olds to not have a social life that doesn’t include our input. They are even more undeniable with this album. We should want them to be happy and feel like they can have a life outside their art. They worked their asses off to get here and sacrificed so much, and I think we should be happy they’re taking back their agency over themselves. As the kids say, Slay queens 🖤

I agree, you are the first reactor to ask this question. I also think this song is not about haters or general people but more towards the industry. The Netizens or even Dispatch. Telling them to mind there own business and let them, not just BP but all artist live there lives the way they want. Having a pure image is important in South Korea, but to what point, these girls are in there mid 20s now and many of the KPOP boys in the 2 gen are approaching there 30s, and you expect them to keep this pure image if they want to be a singer or actor/ess. crazy social standards.

Tally is my favorite not because it is explicit, but because I relate more to it with people constantly judging you to live a certain way. It's a song you will always sing with all of your heart when you spit the lyrics. I actually tend to skip Happiest Girl. While it is beautiful, it is also very trigerring so I avoid it. Overall, BP.
