A cigarette on the beach became a joint, a mug of tea became a cheap cider, a kiss in the sunshine became..well you get it ...We have allowed this country to degenerate..RIP GUYS 1914-18 1939-45.. nobody left to save us

So true and don't forget Grandad sat on the beach sweltering in a suit, collar and tie, flat cap on and smoking St Bruno in his pipe. That''s if he was alive and not stuffed into a care home because his family are too busy to look after him like many today.

Glad we had those times, we were the lucky generation, feel sorry for the kids of today, constantly looking at their phones

I have never been to Blackpool, but I imagine it to be a shell of its former glory. I guess we'll look at Dubai the same way in 60 years.
