A man is on top of a roof on a property on Lytham Road, chucking tiles off.

I feel so sorry for this man, I know he’s caused a lot of disruption to people but clearly not well, imagine being in that state and you have got people filming you like an animal at the zoo, poor bloke clearly needs help and if it’s the same one should have got proper help at the first incident, the police should have moved everyone back and blocked off the road, I know it makes interesting viewing but it’s still incredibly sad x

Blackpool 2023 is probably the worse Blackpool has ever been environmentally, look around, unless you stay predominantly on the promenade, it is an absolutely horrendous place that has been allowed, by many, to be turned into such a sad place to come and visit, of course we all remember to good times but based solely on the "here and now" it is off the charts an unpleasant place to visit, and the whole point of visiting a tourist attraction town by the sea is to get away from the daily grind and degradation we witness and live with in our own cities and town, to try and get away from that for a few days is why we go on holiday, not to see the exact same, been visiting Blackpool, like many, for decades, sometimes 3 or 4 times a years, our last visit, a long weekend in early April left me/us all deflated and sad, not what you should be experiencing on a holiday, will we be back ?, who knows, but right now the answer is no, sadly.

Good question David. I tend to stay off the piers because the management are a bit funny about people filming, particularly the North Pier. However, I did a video from the North Pier in winter, and I did a video on Central Pier last summer.
