Both will only be able to be booked via Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s app on the day of your visit.; STANDARD ENSŌ BOOKING £15 VIP ENSŌ BOOKING £25 Guests that already have a VIP Speedy Pass can get a VIP ENSŌ Booking for £15. Bookings are only valid for one ride on ENSŌ. It is non-refundable and non-transferable. ENSŌ is subject to availability. When purchasing a Standard ENSŌ ride, you will have the same wait time as the current queue but with one big advantage, you don’t have to stand in line! When purchasing an ENSŌ VIP ride, your wait time is reduced by 90% of the normal queue time length. While you are waiting for your ENSŌ ride you can visit other rides and attractions across the park. After completing your booking, a timer will start to countdown and when the timer reaches zero, you can head straight to the ENSŌ entrance where you will scan a code with your phone to board ENSŌ. Can't see them getting many people after the initial interest at that price but judging by their recently published accounts (£2.6m loss), they are clearly desperate which is slightly concerning for the future of the park.

I think it's safe to say whoever made the decision to have a spinning back row on one train, didn't think it through at all, and as a result it will piss off more people than it thrills. Chances are they will abandon it after one/two seasons.

Avalanche is such a good 'stepping stone' coaster imo, I have find memories of BPB and my Dad took me on Zipper Dipper first and then my first 'big' coaster was avalanche, made me feel much more confident about riding The Big One, eventually.

I was there yesterday ( Saturday 5th March). I dont know if you guys were there yesterday but we struck so lucky with the weather. It wasn't too busy either, so we were able to get on 17 rides altogether. Shame the big one wasn't open, but we all know wind is quite the nemesis of the big one. But we had a good time nonetheless, see you in June 👋 👍

I asked about the big one at information desk which tell me that the delay for the big one opening was caused by covid slowing down the delivery of the track. To be honest I think they've been told to say this but don't really know. Just an excuse because the pleasure beach hasn't delivered for their opening after all the promotions that we'd have an these upgrades but instead we had downgrades.

Mark raising excellent points on Enso with regards to queuing and closing times. Maybe they have thought about it all but it just sounds like a mess if they haven't. For the money those seats must have cost, I think a new themed flat ride in the old Mouse space might have been a bigger attraction for the next couple of seasons.

I'll do it once for definite, if the water vortex hasn't changed then it's not good for my health to keep riding it because the hit of cold water from that used to take my breath away. Sudden temp changes are not good for somebody who's had lung surgery. I want to lap it...

Interesting video as always Scott. So many questions about Enso and not many answers. Personally I don't like the idea and as with so many things happening with the pleasure beach in the last couple of years (big price hikes wherever you look), it does seem like another desperate attempt to raise more funds. Unfortunately I doubt I will be able to ride Enso this year. Just gone and had myself a heart attack last month. Hoping to be back on the park in the spring though for some of the more gentle ride offerings.

Icon is one of the best coasters in the country, it’s a very risky gamble to add Enso when the station and logistics clearly aren’t up to it and risk messing up the experience for everyone. Pleasure Beach should just leave the ride exactly as it is, if they want to add a spinning experience to the park then they should look at adding a spinning coaster as a belated replacement for the Wild Mouse, something similar to the Monkey Mayhem/Walls Twister at West Midlands Safari park would be a great family addition and could be situated near the fountains.

Great video as always guys, a couple of extra points regarding enso and announcement from Blackpool council recently. You were talking about cost of day out in Blackpool, the council have just announced increases to parking charges this year which will again add to the cost of a family day out, not to mention fuel prices to actually drive to Blackpool. On enso., one solution that came to me while watching the video would be to use the front row queue for enso seats, load train as normal, then move it forward to load enso???? Don’t honestly know if that would work or is even possible, but just a thought. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Fuel costs are sky rocketing by the day, I noticed in Blackpool diesel is at 160p now, it used to be cheaper in Blackpool than in Crewe but sadly not anymore. The news reporters should be reporting about a fuel crisis tbh.

Just been on park today, great day with all staff members very polite and helpful. Noticed that the Grand Prix cars aren’t running, what’s your opinion on removing that ride and replacing with a coaster or flat ride? Is there a point to the wristband scanners seen as everyone needs an e-ticket? The big one track by the hotel isn’t connected to the older track so I’d say it would be a week or two.

My son loves the Grand Prix, before I was a dad I'd have said bin it off and use the space but I see it from a family side now. The park has a good balance of family and thrill rides, would be a shame to lose what families enjoy. I watched all of the Big One track going in, the new track meets the old track absolutely fine, there's some minor adjustments to be made to two of the new sections in the week. Work was stopped for whilst the park is open.

I went to BPB last weekend and wasn't tempted at all with Enzo and saw one train go round with Enzo riders on it. I think its a bust with the price to ride it. It was the first time I have been on Icon and went on it 6 times, tbh I thought the coaster is overrated. Great hang time and airtime but slow and lacked intensity for me. Loved the big one and the retro woodies.

Totally agree with your views about Enso. I'm a season pass holder and would choose the option of queuing up in the normal queue due to being able to visit often. I enjoy the atmosphere and usually never in a rush because I can visit often. However.. If I do pay extra for Enso? ( for a treat) Where does that leave me with fast pass? For me it's a new experience... but not wanting to feel that "fast pass Enso riders" gets priority if I've chosen to queue until the station. Hopefully.. Once we hit the turnstiles...and paid.. It will be treated equally? P. S Still waiting for Mike to buy an apron for his run to opening of the big one. 🤣

How will Enzo impact the speed of the ride? At places on Icon I feel it isnt the fastest, pulling extra weight could really hamper the ride experience? Or can they add extra speed at the initial launch points to counter this?

The only realistic option I can see for Enzo is to send people through the speedy pass/accessible queue, which isn't an ideal option.

On the point of it being potentially cheaper going abroad then visiting Pleasure Beach that is a genuine worry, and Pleasure Beach need to think very very carefully and take a long hard look not only pricing but their overall business plan and think how can we get people to keep coming back and repeat custom with that in mind? That’s one reason why I’m not sure going down the P1 price route is the right way to go in the long term, but we’ll see.

Pay one price will not switch people off from the Pleasure Beach, but Blackpool's overall pricing and Pleasure Beach's may well be a factor. Pay one price is the future, it was always going to be with or without covid.

@@yourexperienceguide If there hellbent on going down the P1 price model from now on then like you say they really need to get the pricing right and having an additional charge on top of a high price resulting in potentially being more expensive than going abroad that needs to be looked at I think, and if they’re going to go down the pay one price from now on then they really need to make sure that they provide the best deal possible and at a sensible price, otherwise I dread to think what will happen in the future😰
