Thanks a lot, man To be honest, I didn't really think it was going to make such a big difference 🙇🏽♂️. I love poker, but I've never been in the top 10 of any tournaments or games in which I play online. I actually started to think it was all rigged and fake. But after watching your videos just for 2 days, I just won my first ever online cash poker tournament. 🎉🎉 Really, thanks a lot.

First time watching a video of you 42 seconds after it's released (because I only discovered Poker and your channel a few days ago)

My takeaway: Know the seating. Learn the players. Learn when to bet large, (re)raise, call, fold, & when to bluff. Learn equity. Control losses. Maximize stellar hands. Read Nathan's book. Thanks bro! Almost ready to take on Hellmuth & Negreanu (😜, I got jokes!)

What exactly do you mean by not playing the hand? Fold directly in the beginning or wait for the flop? Ps.: Your Videos and sheat sheet are pretty helpful!

Hi, quick question. If I only have one of the worse hands of the ones you recommend like a low pair, middle suited connectors or an ATo or AJo, would you still raise at least 3x the BB first in the pot, even if your position is in the start or even if you play with 6-9 players? And why do you recommend to raise at the Flop with these hands if all my opponents check even if I don't connect with the board at all? Especially at micro stakes I feel like this C-bet will just always make me lose money since there are always multiple people calling. (Same for the turn, if I bet 75% with only a flash/straight draw, doesn't that mean I have quite unlikely chances of loosing all my money if those players call most raises?)

How to deal with FD and SD if you don’t hit it on the turn. Keep going for a chance on the river? Depending on how much it is to call?
@BlackRain79PokerАй бұрын
I will often keep betting but it depends on the player type and the card that comes on the turn.

Playing yesterday on Poker Stars NLTH 9 seated table there was an idiot who kept going all in. No matter what he had he'd win. Eventually I got fed up and was dealt AQs, he had AJos. He went all in, I called. The flop was 8JJ! I'm sure Poker Stars is rigged!

I'm in the US. It has been forever since I played at PokerStars. When I did play there, it was the only place that I played. Sometimes, I thought that it was rigged, too. Imagine getting dealt QQ and the flop comes KQQ... all of the money goes in, and your opponent turns K6 over.... Turn is K... River is K. I was pretty upset.

Doesn't tip 8 conflict with tip 2?
@dac1utch766Ай бұрын
no, tip 2 is raise strong hands before flop, tip 8 is catching bluffs and slow playing only against aggressive players
@johnnyshedd7082Ай бұрын
I understand what each tip is about. Here is the scenario: if you raise your strong hand, I immediately assume you're the aggressive player. Which in turn makes me slow play my bluff catching hand. you could even reverse the order: I slow play my hand ( because I see you as the aggressive player). which you interpret as limping in

Does bro ever make videos beyond beginner level?
@johnkurian4529Ай бұрын
Obviously he knows his niche
@joseda3rd354Ай бұрын
He specializes in microstakes since that’s where he makes most of his money. His books and courses are for people pursuing microstakes so he’s not going to go beyond that

Most of my audience are beginners and small stakes players but I do mix in some advanced videos every now and then.
@SteveVgodАй бұрын
@@BlackRain79Poker I get that, but a lot of the points in your new videos you already have in multiple past videos. Having a single list of 20 tips for beginners and then making a new video on 7 of those each time isn't new content. So while I appreciate content for beginners, what's the point of building an audience and then providing very little useful content past the point they subscribe and watch 5 videos? Surely, there's a lot of subscribers who don't bother watching any new video. Just my take - perhaps I should just unsubscribe if the content isn't useful anymore.
