Ram 2500 Top 5 Upgrades for 5th Gen Ram in 2023

In this video I cover my top 5 favorite mods I've done so far on my 22' Ram 2500 as of March 2023. These mods are MBRP 4” cat-back exhaust, Baja Design S2 Sport reverse lights, Racine Hostage wheels, Nitto Ridge Grappler tires, Extang Xceed tonneau cover, & LineX bed liner. Hey from the South Carolina Coast. Great vid bro. Just bought a brand new 2023 2500 big horn night edition at Rick Hendrick Dodge in Charleston SC last week. 6.4 Hemi Black. Got an end of year super deal. List 69,800 walked out paying 60,500 out the door. Just bought today 20x10 Fuel wheels and Mickey Thompson 35x12.5 Baja's. Had Mickeys on last truck and they lasted 60k+ miles, very good tire. Already have coming in mail an after market performance air intake. A must on all my vehicles. Will be changing out exhaust soon. Really love this truck. Just going with a leveling kit, no lift. Always turn off MDS by selecting gear limiter in manual mode but shifts without having to manually shift, no drone, no 4 cylinder running crap, hemi power all the time. Who cares about the gas milage ! ha Already had a factory sprayed bed liner. Looking at different options for exhaust. Please send link for exhaust and resonator that would be appreciated...Thanks !

Thanks man and congrats on your new truck! They finally got the towing mirrors fixed on the new 23’ model and sounds like you got a good deal! Love it! You’re already diving into some mods. I have a hard time keeping things 100% stock myself. The exhaust I’m running is the MBRP 4” cat back and the resonator I welded in is a 1320 4” Performance ultra quiet res 14” length. The combo of the 2 is really solid in my opinion and doesn’t piss off the family on long trips which is a win!

They are actually 34.59” x 11.22” & 7.29” sidewall, 108.66” circumference which comes out to 583.12 revolutions per mile.

Mine are the 285/65R20’s which come out to 34.8” x 11.5”

Idk much about exhausts... you mind dropping the links in your description for the mbrp exhaust and the resonator? I plan on getting it asap, as well as the tires, haven't pick out the wheels yet. Also I have the 2500 Cummins will the exhaust work on there as well? Thanks for posting

The exhaust I have is specific for the 6.4 Hemi and will not work with the Cummins. I know MBRP does have a DPF back system but it only included SS steel exhaust tube and a tip since the exhaust setup and emissions are different on a diesel truck. Hope that helps.

I have a bad drone too inside cab , I recently found out by taking off Eco mode and not as loud any more ✌️

I have been turning off the MDS and not using the eco mode since I got the truck lol. Not only does it sound bad when it kicks in…I completely agree it also adds some unnecessary drone. Not like these trucks were made for fuel efficiency anyways 😂
